Project went outstandingly. Started on schedule and completed in the anticipated timeframe. Any day staff or subcontractors were expected, they were there on time (usually a bit earlier). Quality of work and personalities of all workers was great. Any unexpected issues were resolved quickly, properly and without extra charges.

Things went well. I've used Brown & Glynn for decades - basement, new addition, new windows,.. They have always been dependable and timely. A little on the pricey side - but I never have to worry about the quality, timeliness.

Absolutely incredible experience.  We knew taking down the kitchen for an extended period of time would require patience, but Brown and Glynn did everything in their power to make this as painless as possible.  They kept to the schedule they promised, and although we added and changed several small things along the way, they kept to their bid price.  The pride each craftsman took in their work was so refreshing ~ okay was not good enough .... they worked until each little item was perfect. Everyone was punctual,extremely  friendly, flexible, and willing to answer our questions, offer suggestions,  and  explain and teach us things along the way.  Each day before they left everything was cleaned up and safe for us to walk through that evening.  Kitchen looks amazing .... We will use them again in a heartbeat!

Very Good.

Very happy with the new bath in functionality for the home and the children.  Easy suppliers, simple coordination, great materials, good workmanship.  Would ask them to do additional work when we need it.  Recommend them.  All issues and concerns handled quickly.  Only wish it was completed quicker but understand there were unknowns and unforeseen conditions discovered during demolition that required revising plans, relocating plumbing/elec/HVAC from original plans.  They responded quickly and kept us informed of what was going on next.  We didnt like some of the spackle work and they had the guy back out with additional hands and made it what we wanted.  Had issues with scratches and damage to hardwood floor in hall adjacent to bath work.  No problem, got floor guy to us and offered to cover cost for repairs/refinish.  Nothing ever goes perfect, but they stand by their word and did what they said they would do to make it right.  Hard to find that now days.  Also, carpenter hung new door for us, electrician installed new light fixture and fan in other bedroom.  They made themselves available to help us fix up our home while they were in the house for the main job.

After a heavy downpour, we found a skylight was leaking. This was in the room of our house where my wife sees clients, so we needed the job done promptly and quickly. The project manager from Band G noticed that the clapboard on our dormers needed replacing, so replacing them with aluminium siding was added to the job.
We have used Band G before, and while they are on the more expensive side, they do very good work and they manage a project very efficiently. This occasion was no different. The project manager stayed on top of the job; the roof was replaced and new skylights inserted while we were gone for three days. What remained was finishing up the interior face of the skylights and installing siding on the dormers, which the workmen timed for the intervals when my wife was not working.

Brown and Glynn Construction Co. are very, very good. They tell you what's wrong, but they don't pressure you. He told me everything that they needed to do, but he wasn't like a salesman. They did an awesome job. They did most of it in one day and had it all done in two days. They do everything, and they do it well. I think the price was fair, for what was done. I will be using them soon again, to install some new french doors.

THey were very courteous and professional. THey stayed within budget and will send someone over to fix any issues.

Very professional, responsive and timely from quotation to completion. One day to remove old roof surfaces and shingle two pitched roofs. One additional day to resurface flat roof.

Went well. Took a bit longer than originally discussed but that was mostly due to weather conditions and temperatures

Brown and Glenn came out and provided us with an estimate for our deck update. Price was fair since what we were asking for was hard to find in our area. The railing was done adequately, however they did not use stainless steel screws that were provided by the company. We are also concerned about the pins placed in the railing to stabilize it. For warranty purposes, it is unsure if pins supplied by the company were used, Brown and Glenn did say they were. The workers that were employed to do the job need to brush up on installation of stairs and provide a better grade of wood product.

They did a very nice job. In addition, they estimated low and found they needed to do a bit more to support the structure. They made the proper corrections and did not charge extra. They just wanted to make sure they did the best possible job. I would highly recommend them.

It was great as in the past, a great team we could trust that worked as a team. We were told a few days before who would come and who would be the lead.
We hope that we can have all our projects done by them, they are great and reliable!

I like them very much.

Everything went well from start to finish. The office person who answered our calls was wonderful to deal with...she took great notes, understood what was needed and the appropriate person got back to us in a timely manner. On site, whenever we had a question, the forman was there to speak with us. When we wanted to make changes, they were flexible and able to accommodate us. One mistake occurred and they corrected it at no cost to us. The people we dealt with were all professional, and pleasant. They made you feel very comfortable and that is extremely important to me. Renovations are disruptive and stressful enough, having to deal with the mess, all the decisions that need to be made, not having the use of rooms like kitchens, etc. if you do not feel comfortable and confident with your contractor your life could become a real nightmare. We did have issue with the finish on some of our kitchen cabinet doors which were purchased through the vendor that Brown and Glynn used at that time. A number of the doors were replaced, but I was still not fully satisfied and would probably not use that vendor again. However, the products that were used in construction and the workmanship of Brown and Glynn we were very satisfied with and would recommend Brown and Glynn to others and have already done so.

The project manager was very flexible in term of the material to be provided, the schedule and the work I would provide so I did not get charge for it. All schedule were maintainted and the site was kept clean and organized. when change to the project were requested, pricing was agreed upon to my satisfaction.Extremely professional and willing to make the customer happy.I will only use Band G for all my needs as there were fair, honest and behave with total integrity.

They do a lot of work. They are a good company. If they are scheduled to come at 7am, they are outside my house at 6:50am waiting for 7am for me to open my door. They are on time everyday and never once did they not show up. They were quick, clean, proficient and very professional. They got the job done on time and did a very good job. I was very happy with them. They started in August and finished by the first of November. I have no reservations about recommending them. Their price was very competitive.

The job was perfect, perfect scheduling, perfect timing and perfect communication on when things would happen and how long it would take. It was exactly as they said and they actually were able to finish 1 day earlier, which was gpod as the cat could come earlier from boarding and it saved us some money with medical boarding. The project manager was fantastic, Mark Loeser, as he put 3 teams on the job and it all went extremely smoothly. The bay window arrived cracked from Anderson, but he took care of it immediately. They put the cracked window in in the meantime and Anderson was in with the replacement in a few days. I recommended them to some of my neighbors and those who went with them were extremely pleased. Our house looks perfect since then and we will use them for any other project in the future, home expansion or anything else they do. Great company to go to.

They fixed the problem. I particularly appreciate that they have always provided courteous and professional service.

Overall, the experience went well. I'm satisfied with their services.

It was a good interaction. It was a small job for them. Sometimes I had to email Jonathon to see when he would be out and he would almost always be out within a day. He was responsive, but you could tell it had gotten to be busy and this small of a job wasn't always where he was thinking. I find that Jon runs the company and sometimes he gets a lot of things on his mind and you might have to jog his memory. It's not like you have to nag him or anything like that, but he's responsive when I do. I have hired him in the past to replace the roof in the house.

They came out quickly, but did not follow up. They came out and took off an area where a roof vent had blown off. They were supposed to come back and replace it, but I haven’t heard from them. They sent somebody, but they didn’t ask for payment.

From the first contact with the company to the completion of the job, every person with whom we had dealings was courteous, listened, answered questions and was helpful. This included contacts with the office, John Glynn, and all of the people who worked on the site. I chose Brown and Glynn because I knew from past experience with a number of building projects and the description of the work that John Glynn said that they would do, the job would be done right. It should look good and last. I think John is more of a perfectionist than I am, and I am a perfectionist. The job was done right. It looks very good, and I have little doubt that it will last because very good materials were used throughout and they were installed correctly. As they worked on the project, they did a number of small additional things that made the job even better. There was never a charge for any of this. Clean up was very good. Our overall experience throughout the project, from the planning and talking stage to it completion, was pleasant and straight forward. We are very pleased with the results. No wonder they have done so many jobs in the area.
