.He applied for the permits and paid for them as part of the price, then installed a 20K Generac. The local inspections were scheduled and approved all within about a two to three week period.
The only delay was with the Gas Co. The Generac was installed and operational on April 24 and the Gas Co said he applied to them on May 14. About 10 days after he applied to the Gas Co, they contacted me and came out to install the new meter.
All is well and works fine now and it worked before the Gas Co changed the meter. Although a new meter was needed, please take note that everything worked with the old meter. The Gas Co said the old meter would not supply quite enough gas to run all we wanted the generator to handle. It would work but not as well as with a new meter. It was not a big issue, but it had to be done.
Bill Meyers was very professional, always took my phone calls and responded to my email. He obtained permits, installed the Generac, and had inspections done and approved very quickly. I will definitely call Meyers Electric with my electrical needs.
