Code Green Solar

The process of coordinating with Atlantic City Electric of having my meter changed was quoted as taking only 30 days.  Up to 2 months if AC Electric had a back log.  Here we are on the 22nd of December and my system is still not operational.  The error was on Code Green's paperwork side and not Atlantic City Electric.  This has been the worse customer service that I have ever experienced in my 11 years of owning a home.  8 months after installation, I still cannot use my system.  On top of this I have dealt with numerous levels of customer service and management and all i have received after this 8 MONTH delay is we are sorry.  Not a "Hey Mr. Miller let us take care of your first payment, first 3 payments since we have caused you so much turmoil with our incompetence".  Just a we are sorry that its taking so long.  So i have started a campaign to inform others in my neighborhood, and far as my reach can in Southern NJ to stay away from Code Green Solar.  So be warned when they approach your neighborhood.  Maybe your experience may turn out better but do you want to take that chance when there are numerous companies that match prices with solar installation.  And trust me they price match.  Have seen it twice in my neighborhood.

I had previously written to say that this company overquoted the value of the job, and that we declined to use them.  I want to update that review.  Following my original review I was contacted by the company with concerns about the service/quotation I had received.  They explained that the person that had quoted my job was no longer with the company, and that they would like an opportunity to review the job and the quote.  They went out of their way to be sure that I was quoted a valid price and that the job was scheduled promptly.  The work was done on time, professionally, and neatly.  I would have no concerns about using them again, or recommending them to others.
