HIGH POINT PUMP MFG CO

The pump under our laundry room which we purchased from High Point Pump years ago would not turn on.  I called them to get a new pump and was told they no longer made them but could rebuild it.  I took them the pump to rebuild.  They charged me $150 cash (no receipt) and said they replaced a switch.  When I installed the pump it would not turn on when the laundr tub filled with water.  I brought the pump to them and it was a simple matter that the diaphram which presses on the switch when pressure builds did not have a small mettle disc and could not press hard enough on the switch button.  I re-installed the pump and it turned on after an inch or two of water filled the tub.  However it would not turn off.  I took the pump back three more times.  Each time I was told it was fixed.  The third time I even had to pay another $15 because the diaphram had to be replaced again.  I was told by the original owner of the company that there probably was lint in the pump causing it to not shut off.  However, they never cleaned it out.  Something I would of expected them to do as part of rebuilding the pump.  I called after the last time they serviced the pump and their cell number is disconnected.  I will now have to buy a new pump.  I would never go back to them again.

WE HAVE USED HIGH POINT PUMP SERVICES MANY TIMES FOR THE REPAIR AND SOMETIMES REPLACEMENT FOR OUR SLOP SINK PUMP. THE SERVICE HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE BEST.
