The contractor did not inform me a a permit was required. Also that his contract has a mediation clause in it. So if your not happy you can take him to small claims court because you have to do mediation which is very expensive. Wish someone would of given me heads up. My patio was not pitched correctly so my neighbor complained. Did offer me any help to fix the problem. Please do you do diligence before you hire him.
