 + 0 moreSee above - Did remove siding along with moldy wood and dry wall inside the sunroom. Replaced wood outside and inside. Put muck over outside area where water coming into house- which fixed the leak problem. Removed and replaced the drywall and painted - which was one half wall and 1 1/4 of a wall. Replaced and painted 2 baseboards. Powerwashed back and side of house. The only positive part of this process was the contractor, Tim Gill, who actually did all the work as promised and showed up on time- Called me the night before to let me know about any scheduling changes. He is a very reliable worker, who i would recommend- but not with Neil Block
Description of Work: This company was recommended to me by a friend who has a roofing company- i was in an emergent situation from prior to, during and after Hurricane Irene with having water coming into my sunroom. Their Labor costs are outrageous plus the markup of products used is obscene. Unable to get specific price from Neil Block regarding further work necessary due to damage uncovered once removing the outdoor siding. He had given me a very vague - over a $1,000 more than i had already paid. Basically when speaking with several public adjusters their estimate was closer to $3,000 not the $4600 I was charged. This is not their usual type of work- this contractor does more concrete and masonry work. - I would never let them begin a job unless you know the complete price start to finish. This has been a very costly learning experience for me. 1st the removing the vinyl siding to see if damage underneath, finding the cause of the flood water coming in.
