our neighbors were getting theirs done, so we asked about their services. they had some problems with how slow their driveway was being done, but they were home so they kept on top of George Branton and his workers. they were getting more extensive work done. we just needed some small cracks filled in and resurfaced. We called George. He said he could do it that day and would charge us $500 since his truck was already there. When I got home a saw his work, it looked like he applied a coat of black paint to our driveway. The cracks were still there, just painted over. I called George and left three messages. He finally called back, apologized profusely, said he wanted us to be satisfied, would try to fill in the cracks as best as he could. He said he had a job in Ct so would take a week of so. He never came. I called him three more times into the next month. After three more calls and messages, he called back. He again apologized, saying he went away and his brother was supposed to cover his business. He would come by and do what he promised. He never did of course. I left one more message, he never replied. At our local bank, the teller had seen him cash our check the month before, so she asked our experience. We told her what happened. She reported to us that she gave him cash to begin a job on her driveway, but he took the cash and never even began the job. He is a con artist! George has the line 'have a blessed day' on his outgoing message. He should be ashamed of himself for pretending to be a holy man and scamming people
