Structural Techniques

Jim was referred to us for replacement window sales and installation. While he was installing windows for us, we found out he is a structural contractor as well and we had him replace two small windows in our dining room with a patio door. He had to reframe the exterior weight bearing wall in order to accommodate this request but he did so with such ease and confidence. The job went so well, we had him repair extensive termite damage including sill plates, floor joists and girders. He leveled a sagging floor, installed lally columns for support and changed a main beam ( girder). The extent of the damage was daunting ( other contractors had walked away!) but Jim's extensive knowledge and experience with termite damage repairs allowed him to perform a thorough and complete repair. His work was amazing and we are so happy with the results! Jim truly is an expert in his craft.

Jim installed a lally column in a very tight area and did a fantastic job. He used only the best materials such as engineered hardwood and a custom cap for the column. Jim was professional and really knew his stuff. I would gladly hire him again for any structural issue.
