The Pool Store

After several years of trying to use this company, not just one but overall bad to work with. This last pool opening was the last time I will ever trust them to open or close our pool. Don;t bother calling and complaining when there is an issue, they only respond to reviews, and the reply will be bs. This last time I requested they come back and correctly install the ladders, I wasnt home to babysit, so my mistake. They are surprising vindictive, terribly unprofessional. Lazy, Sloppy, Careless I could deal with, but acting out when someone complains and breaking my stuff is entirely different story. The parts they broke when they came back arn't expensive, so I will just take care of it myself and hire an actual professional to do the job next time. Its just not worth it to deal with such low lifes.

Horrible experience, They never show up as scheduled and never call to let you know they are not coming. When you call , they say someone will call you back and they never do. It turned into a joke after a while, A 2 week project turned into a 6 week ordeal with me calling constantly to see what was going on . Once they finally showed up they filled my pool and left the water running all night and forgot to leave instructions or a call to shut it off. They also ruined a new cooler which I just purchased by leaving rusty nails and metal on top of it. When I asked to be reimbursed they had the guts to say they had to do some extra work so they actually saved me $300. This was a total Nightmare. I should have done some research before using these people. Stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We wanted to install and inground pool and did much research on who to choose for installation. After hearing some horror stories of other companies and their installation and many many contractors that were at their home, we chose to go with The Pool Store! For starters, Toni the owner INSTANTLY made us feel comfortable in designing our pool and this was not about money or dollar amount. At one point she even told us we can always install things at a later date (heater and salt water) instead of us stressing out over budgets. She guided in the right direction and assured us the pool would be perfect. Well she was not lying because we truly could not be happier with our experience and outcome of our pool. Secondly, all of the contractors that came to our home worked for and with Toni/ The Pool Store and EVERYONE was on the same page during the entire process. The office called me multiple time to always inform me of the next process and steps to expect including who would be at our home and why. Communication is key for us and I couldn't boast more about it. The office sent us photos of pools so we could give it to our children for Christmas because this pool was a surprise. They worked with us every step of the way! All of my many questions were answered and my worries subsided because of the ladies in the office and Toni's reassurance that we will have an amazing summer of 2017! Overall, our pool was completed in 3 1/2 weeks, start to finish, and add in a little snow to that time frame too! I can't thank the pool store enough and Toni for her amazing team she has!

The service promised was never completes! My 72 year old husband and I were forced to clean up all the garbage and mess they left! BE CAREFUL WHO UOU GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER TO! NEVER TO THESE CROOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything leading up to the pool install was great.  They know what to say to suck you in.  There were some issues with the installation that not only do they make promises to come out and look but never do until you ask many times, they blame the problems on anyone they possibly can.  Fortunately I documented everything and all communication was by email, so there was a clear record of everything.  I would recommend thinking long and hard before using this company.  Search reviews and read all of the horror stories, I have spoken to a few of them since my issues and know they are not false.  I would also read all of the complaints in the BBB.  The BBB is actually a joke, and so is the rating.  They have an A- rating because the complaints are either labeled as resolved or closed.  You would think an A- rating wouldn't have too many complaints.  Most of the complaints have the same thing in common.  Little responsiveness, blames other people, lies, horrible work.  They will tell you that they care, and they only do so many pools a year.  Once they get your money, they are on to the next job, and when they have time they will try to fit you in.

Very bad experience.  Terrible customer service, multiple explanations for delays.  Substandard installation.  Staff not knowledgeable.  Owner would not return phone calls.  Runaround from every employee.  Now I know why the price was so low.

The pool seems to be great, but have not used yet because of cold weather. However the process of installation was horrible, they never did what I was told.

I liked everything about them. I liked the quality, the product that they have and the price. I would use them again in the future if needed.
