Very happy with service.

I gave the company a call on 30 May to request an appointment to have my washing machine repaired. I provided him with all the symptoms/error codes I was encountering and asked if he knew what the problem could be. He said he couldn't be sure until he looked at the machine. I requested an estimate and he said that his service charge and he said $70.00 and that it would be applied to the repair order. He came the next day during a time which we mutually agreed probably wouldn't work and told my wife (who was leaving to run errands) and would not accede to my wife's request to come back in an hour.
He then told my wife that it would only take him 10-15 minutes because he knew what the problem was. He replaced the water pump in 10 minutes and charged us $300.00. I have looked up price of the water pump online and found that it sells for $55 - $100 dollars from many sources.
Basically, I feel that ACME 'robbed' us by charging $300.00 for a $100.00 - $50.00 part. No complaints about the repair job but I would not use this company for any repair job again.

He fixed it. As soon as I called they were here within a short period of time. I think they were here within 2 hours even though it was not an emergency. They might have been in the area but they were here pretty quick which was good.The quality of work was fine.

This was a great experience. I called on a Wed to make the appt, he offered to come out Thursday if not prevented by a snow storm coming our way. When he couldn't make it on Thursday due to the weather, he called me first thing on Friday to see if he could come out & was there within an hour of the call. The entire appointment did not take much time at all. He was polite, conscientious, and accommodating. Happy to squeeze past things I couldn't move myself. He made sure that I understood exactly what had happened, what might have caused it and that I was fully informed of what steps he was taking to repair our dryer. He made sure to tell me before he left to call if anything further went wrong as he guarantees his work.
