HI-STEAM

My husband brought a high steam iron as a Christmas gifts, a very expensive boiler iron, for my shop. It arrived and worked for 1 month before it broke down. I called the company and told them what happened. They stated that I have to send it to the service center and they are no longer responsible. I packed and shipped it out to the service center. I waited 3 months and when I got it back it was a total wreck and  they did not even send it back in the original package and it was shattered and damaged. I paid $225.00 for the repair plus shipping and got a hold of the owner of the company. She says that we should have called before send it to the service center and I informed her I did thinking it would be shipped and returned. She then tells me I have to send it out to a service center in Chicago and she will pay shipping and repairs. I waited another 3 to 5 months.  They let me k now what was wrong and I was under the assumption the owner was to cover the cost. She did and when they shipped it back it was worse than the first time. I called the company again and she said that I had to call and ship it back and I did. They called back and said it was going to cost hundreds of dollars and I stated I was not going to pay. I now don’t have an iron and I am out over $1000.00 and nothing from the company.
