"The work was performed over 10 years ago as per our dated agreement not done 8 years ago or on September 15th of this year as member noted in the text above. He did have one problem several years back in a severe snow and ice situation in which the gutters were completely iced over and a snow dam had worked its way up the roof. We did respond to the situation which was simply impossible for water to flow correctly. There was no way to remedy this other than to get a thaw and make sure the gutters remained free flowing going forward. As far as this latest situation, this forum is the first time it was brought to my attention. Please post this as your readers need to know the facts. Peter Richter"

"We did try to respond to member. The several projects in which he refers to above were priced out. Unfortunately due to a family health issue I could not respond as timely as I would have liked to. It is unfortunate that after I tried to contact member I received no return call. So naturally he comes on here and trashes the contractor. I did try to express the situation to him in my message but apparently it was to no avail. I do feel it is unfair that this forum will even entertain or give the opportunity for someone to post something negative like this trivial complaint without even getting both sides of the story. Not only that, I never even did any work for this individual. What is to prevent anyone with an axe to grind with me or any other business man for that matter from getting on here and attempting to give us a bad name. I want this removed from my record immediately, as realistically, there is no proof that this even happpened and I believe the circumstances surrounding this situation are very self explanatory..Pete Richter"
