EKB Kitchen & Bath Remodelers

Another great experience with EKB! This was the second home project they did for us. They first did our kitchen in 2017 so when it was time to remodel our bathroom we went right back. Once again they made it easy from the initial conversation to the detailed planning and making suggestions along the way to guide us. They also setup your inspections, electrician appointments, plumbing, etc. so it was really a one-stop shop to get it all done. I've recommended them to friends and they had the same great service from EKB. We're looking to possibly do a room addition which they do as well!

Tom and his team did an excellent job of gutting our old kitchen and powder room and completely redesigning them. From beginning to end, Tom was extremely professional and responsive. He more than exceeded my high expectations! He is incredibly knowledgeable about kitchen and bath design and built us our dream kitchen. Before the renovations, our powder room was an extra small space that was almost unusable, but Tom knew exactly how to expand the space and make it not only functional but beautiful. Our house is old and these rooms hadn't been updated in years-Tom knew exactly how to address and fix any issues encountered in the renovation. He checked in frequently about our progress and communicated every detail along the way. We ended up with a beautiful and highly functional kitchen and powder room. He also worked with me to design a functional sink and vanity that our full bath was lacking. I would HIGHLY recommend Tom and his team and hope to work with them again when we put in another full bath. I've attached before and after photos to this review.

This is a top-notch organization.......they made the kitchen of my dreams a reality. I have a small kitchen so I wasn't sure what could be done about it other than having some new appliances. But Tom provided great ideas and showed me renderings of his vision, and it blew me away!......The work was done in a timely manner, and the attention to detail they had was amazing. All of the employees at Economy that came to work on my kitchen was first-rate and explained what they were doing to me in a clear manner so I never wondered what they were doing...... I would highly, highly recommend Economy K&B....and will be doing further improvements with them again in the future!!

Crew was neat, professional, conscientious, always cleaned up at the end of the day. Always seeked approval before next step. Kept us informed of the progress and next day's plans.

Everything went very well. The only problem occurred in getting permits from Linden, NJ.

Chris did an excellent job. He cleaned up the area very well after doing the work. One problem with microwave cabinet was corrected quickly.

That was a really expensive job they did. Fantastic job. It was a ton of work. Then, we had to wait for appliances. They had given us the name of somebody who did wholesale. They actually did the work very fast. It was a little pricey.

Tom and Jay were great to work with. We recently renovated our kitchen through Economy and while it can be a stressful and confusing process with so many options, they were very knowledgeable and guided us through everything. They never pushed or tried for unnecessary upsells. They asked thoughtful questions to ensure they could come up with a good project plan. When it came to the actual renovation, the Economy crew were nothing short of professional. Redoing a kitchen is a big project and we have no regrets going with Economy as this is their wheelhouse. Looking to redo our bathroom soon and will surely be contacting Tom or Jay!

Fantastic company to work with!! Very professional. High quality workmanship. Tom Bak came up with great designs and coordinated all facets of the remodel. Everything went smoothly and within budget. The workers were friendly and cleaned up after themselves. I am thrilled with the work they did and highly recommend them. I give them an A+

The design was confusing, I didn't like the way he designed the bathroom.

They were great from day 1...Frank Tallerico was great to work with and very patient with me ...high maintence...addresses all my concerns.  Now the installers.... that's another story...they had there own thing going on...it was funny to watch them give each other digs...they work from when they walked in the door until it was time to quit, clean up every day and were polite and considerate of your surrounding, great for me because I'm anal on how I keep my house.  the job was great and I 'm THRILLED with it.  would I recommend Economy...most definitely!!!

Prompt response from Tom Bak to my Angie's List request. Tom arrived on schedule at my home to see the bathroom to be renovated. He was easy to work with. He answered all my questions and provided suggestions on alternatives for my needs. I was then able to visit the Economy showroom to work on the final price quote. The showroom was large and had an excellent variety of vanities, hardware and countertops to make choices from. I received a quote at that time. The quote was reasonable. I am currently waiting on another quote to make my final decision. Overall I was pleased with the interaction with Tom and Economy.

The granite installers did an excellent job. My kitchen looks awesome. The tile installer worked with my husband to come up with a design for the backsplash. He did an amazing job and I couldn't be happier with the work that was done.

It went very well. They showed upon time and stayed on the job until completion. The designers and installers were very professional. There were no problems.

With all the above work done during demolition and installation, surprisingly, area outside this small bathroom (master bedroom) remained relatively clean! They put protective plastic covering on bedroom carpeting outside bathroom which kept it pretty clean. All the work people who came were professional, courteous, punctual, and just nice guys. Anytime we called the office at Economy Kitchens and Bath, the staff there was just as professional and responsive. I would recommend this company and use them again.

Tom Bak ( sales/project manager) was very professional and helped us select affordable cabinets with a clean design. We were looking for American made cabinets and counter tops, which were provided. We are pleased with their products. Overall the removal of the old cabinets and the installation of the new ones went smoothly. They had estimated 3 -4 weeks for completion of the installation and they were on target. We appreciated that they came when they said they would and they completed what was scheduled for the day. They also cleaned the work area at the end of the day. The coordination with the plumber, electrician, ceramic installer, flooring vendor and their staff was excellent. There was no waiting or delay. The only wait time was with the town inspectors, but even that went smoothly. If we had questions, Tom, the project manager, or Rich, the carpenter on site, always answered our questions promptly and made suggestions when needed. We were very pleased with Rich's work. He is a craftsman. He made recommendations that proved to be the right choices, like lighting selection over the sink. All the workers from the demolition to the final installation were friendly and accommodating, as well as professional and pleasant. We were pleased with their work. We would highly recommend Economy Kitchens and Baths.

Tom was absolutely wonderful to work with. We were under a crunch to get this done quickly and he met all our expectations. He matched the cabinets perfectly and made recommendations that met our needs. We are so happy with the outcome of this project that we will use him again and again. I couldn't have asked for a more professional team. Big thanks to Tom and his team!!
