Calland Brothers provided us with an estimate of around $14,500 for renovation of bathroom and kitchen. They took a deposit of $5,000 and started with the bathroom and kitchen ceiling. It was going relatively well for couple of days until I started to provide the feedback such as "you suppose to use cement board instead of green board in the shower area", "the shelf is not in the location I requested", etc. That was a deal breaker for them, as I have not seen them (and my money) since.

I found him through a program called Development Directions. He was supposed to have the work done in 90 days, and I signed a contract in June. At the end of the 90 days, it was no where near completion. At Thanksgiving, I gave up. I wrote a letter and fired him. Everything that he did I have found something wrong with. I have moved on to another contractor.
