Florists
I've tried using most of the florists in or around Scotch Plains over the last 17 years, and they're all pretty decent. But I've noticed that the flowers from Apple Blossom stay alive longer without a lot of work such as changing water,etc.
I started going to Apple Blossom out of convenience (it was the closest), but I really like the service and staff of the store. In the last 8 or 9 years, I have been exclusively using Apple Blossom - probably making 7 or 8 purchases a year there... They are very friendly there, and will suggest items based on what would be best for the receiver, and not what they can make the most money on. When i call in for a delivery, the item is there when I am told it will be, and my wife has always been thrilled with the flowers... They also have an old-school candy store there now, so when I go into the shop, I always pick up something there too - preferably the Dark Chocolate Pareils...
