The wall replacement went well, and they did a better job than I expected leveling the dirt in the yard near the wall. Unfortunately, they damaged the concrete and left ruts in our brand new (under a year old) asphalt driveway. I called and asked them to come look at it and let me know what they planned to do to repair the damage, but I have not gotten any follow-up.

AMAZING! Pigna and Sons did such a great job on my steps. Now only do my steps look great, but the whole experience was so nice. My front steps broke and were dangerous. When Pigna and Sons found out that my front steps were dangerous, they did everything they could do to repair them quickly. It is the middle of Summer, which is busy season, but they made time for my job. I spoke with Sherry on Friday, Joe assessed my steps on Monday. I signed the contract on Tuesday, the work was done by Wednesday. It was just a small job, but they knew it was important to me. The price was great, and they even improved the design of the steps from the originals so they wouldn't break again. I am so glad that Pigna and Sons did my steps!!

Came out to look at work that needed to be done. Never gave me an
estimate. I called a month later, spoke to a woman who said she would
email me the estimate. She never did. They totally wasted my time. If
they didn't want to do the job he should've told me on the spot!

We needed the front porch steps re-built ASAP. Even though they told me they were very busy, they came the next day. Their work was excellent, they did a beautiful job. I would definitely use them again.

Flawless execution in the rebuild and installation of the bluestone.  A. Pigna and Son have excellent workers who know what they are doing.  If I had to lodge one complaint, it would be over the 6-8 week wait I had to endure before A. Pigna and Son could start the project.  However, the wait was minimal as the end product was excellent; it was definitely worth the wait!
Great provider, complete professionalism (even Sherri in the office was great), and exquisite execution of the project.  Couldn't be happier.

I first contacted A. Pigna in the fall and after a prompt visit for a job estimate and quotes from 2 others, decided to go with them. More expensive, but they seemed to be more knowledgeable and wanting to do the job properly rather than a quick fix. They were honest with me and said that, depending on the weather, the work may not be done until spring. 

Well, it was worth the wait. After a day or two notification, 2 men showed up on the day promised and worked until 9:00 p.m., in the cold and dark!  They returned the next morning (a Saturday) at 9:00 a.m. and again worked all day on the steps and house. Concrete walk was poured on Monday and I couldn't believe how great the whole thing looked. Better than I could have hoped for!

These guys did a great job - like art work!  I would highly recommend them.

They provided the estimate and then nothing happened. I called them up maybe a month and a half later and I asked them when they were going to do the job and they said they don't do the job. Three months later, they called me and they said they are ready to do the job. They charge more than the other company I used. I wouldn't use them and wouldn't recommend them. When he came out, he seems professional and knowledgeable.

Everything went very well. The crew was knowledgeable, efficient and neat. We love the look of the completed work. We would certainly call them if we needed any other masonry work.

My old garage floor had cracked and sunk. A.Pigna and Son Mason removed the old floor and poured new concrete. I choose them because they took the time to use rebar and pin the floor to the foundation. These guys paid attention to detail and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them.

I thought the estimate was high. The reason why they didn't do it is because I know the builder who built my home and I can get him to do exactly what I need for half the money. They came and gave a quote exactly how I expect them to give them a quote. They walked me through on how they will do the project. They ran some numbers for me. It's exactly how I expected them to behave. They showed up on time. They communicated with me.

They were professional, prompt, punctual. They provided a detailed quote.

The new chimney is much better looking than the former 50+ year old one it replaced due to the color of the bricks used. I called the company and someone came to give me an estimate within a day. I received the proposal via email the next day. Work started in approximately 3 weeks. Considering the amount of work for roofers and masons due to the damage caused by Sandy I felt lucky to have the work start so soon. The masons had a challenge to erect their scaffolding due to the structures and tree in my yard where they had to work. They were very creative. The end result was a safe work area, something that I find very important having worked in an industry where safety was a number one issue. They worked under very trying weather conditions. When they finished building the chimney they cleaned up completely. The roofers arrived the next day when it was finally not raining. The chimney was unwrapped and the flashing installed. The masons did a great job. The company president quickly responded to my questions before the job began. I appreciated their willingness to arrange for someone to do the flashing since the local roofing company I would have used was swamped with major roofing work due to damage from Sandy and the nor'easter. I would use A. Pigna and Son Mason Contractors again and recommend them to others. I was very impressed with the responsiveness of the organization and their concern for customer satisfaction.

They are extremely punctual and they are clean, even their trucks are clean. They send very good work people. The father owns the company and they take pride in what they do. Their price is absolutely reasonable for what they do. I would use them again and recommend them.

We recently purchase this home, and Pigna was recommended to me by our realtor. Pigna provided a proposal and free estimate, and they charged what they estimated. They were very professional throughout, and returned phone calls promptly. When we accepted their proposal we were on a waiting list for about 6 weeks. Once they started, they completed the work within one week. The walkway, front steps and pier caps are all beautiful. We are very happy with the results.

I had gotten recommendation from a co-worker who had used A. Pigna before and was not disappointed. Their estimate out of 3 others was the lowest and the best. I did not have to give them a deposit or anything. I signed off on the estimate and they told me they would start in approximately 4 weeks and they were true to the schedule. They did not ask me for the final payment until the railings were installed on 7/9/12 (they had to be custom ordered). Now that's customer service!
They started on Wednesday and finished on Saturday. The work was done so professionally and looks fantastic. I highly recommend this company.

There was a long wait for the start of the work (about 3 months), due to Pigna's busy schedule. That worked out fine for me since I was waiting for the delivery of new porch columns. Pigna installed these for me as requested.
All of the labor was completed quickly in about 3 days. Two masons, Leo and Paulo, did the work during the hotest days of the summer. They were very polite and careful, and did a beautiful job.
They cut out a curved section of sidewalk, and put a new foundation under the lowest step, to ensure that the steps would not crack like the originals did.
In addition, they completed a few minor concrete repairs that I requested while they were here.
They removed all old materials, did a thorough cleanup job.
We are very happy with the results. I will also mention that their estimate was lower than 2 other masons we contacted.

A. Pigna and Sons responded promptly to the call for a bid, explained the proposed work in person and clearly. They called me to set a work start date, and showed up as promised. There was a mix-up with the work required, they were honest about it and made fair adjustments on the final price. The workers were diligent and professional. All questions were answered promptly. The work was done on time and looks great.
