I had contacted Scotchwood Construction back in 2007 for a quote on a new roof, siding, and windows. They were working on two houses down the block at that time and both looked really good. I never had the work done, but their quote at the time was the best, and the owner appeared to be a real honest guy.
This spring I decided the roof and soffits couldn't wait any longer. I contacted 3 of the highest rated contractors on Angie's List in my area. The quotes ranged from $10,200 to $10,800. The highest quote I received specified an off brand shingle.
Disappointed with the quotes I had received, I remembered the quote I had gotten years ago from Scotchwood Construction and gave them a call. He came out in a day or two and left me an estimate.
Scotchwood Construction did everything they said they would in their quote. The entire job was completed in 2 days, a day ahead of schedule. I would definately use them again.

I BELIEVE THIS JOB WAS TOO BIG FOR THIS COMPANY. WE HAD WALLS EXPOSED TO SEVERE WEATHER AND WATER DAMAGE AS A RESULT. I THOUGHT THE SUBCONTRACTORS DID A GOOD JOB, BUT THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE, WAS HORRIFIC BECAUSE WE HAD TO PAY A LOT MORE THAN WE WANTED TO BECAUSE OF THE WATER DAMAGE.
