He helped and charged very little for repairs I didn't know he could that were last minute requests.

Tom came by to give me a quote without any long wait. The price quote was good, and I got a good feeling he knew his stuff from our phone call. He was able to come by not long after then to repair the roof. I didn't need to be home while he did it, but since I was home anyway, I was willing to pay him the same day. Tom asked me to instead mail him a check, but after I notice that his fix worked. (ps: Looking at the forecast, there is only a 10% chance of light showers 2 weeks from now -- so he knew it would be a while before his payment is mailed). With Tom asking me to do this, that tells me he knows he did a thorough job to repair the leak, and that he is very trustworthy. Definitely recommended.

we live in connecticut, but still own the house we bought in nj when we were first married. 100 year old slate roof needed replacing. being from out of state, we find it hard to get contractors, especially with all the repairs being done re: hurricane sandy. called tom kelly, who had given us a prior estimate on some work. tom provided prompt, courteous service, at a reasonable price. very happy. and note, we did not know him nor he us - took a chance because he was from our old hometown. certainly glad we found him.
