"The proposal for work was very clear as to what was covered and what was not including the sq footage for each section to be completed. As work was added such as sq footage and accessories the price was naturally increased which homeowner was upset about. Customer cost increase went from one niche install at $160 to two niches installed at $320. Tile installation on ceiling was not on proposal. Floor was layed out with full tiles in the visible areas and cuts where it would be hid best. The light grout haze that was on the tile was addressed when I went back to the job to address the complaint. I wiped the small area off with my hand and asked homeowner if he'd like me to do the rest, he replied dont bother. We do everything in our power to leave a customer happy. This homeowner became clearly upset once price increased. Customer was midway in an extensive home remodel where he was left in a very bad situation when a general contractor walked off the job with financial benefit on the side of the GC. Homeowner was attempting to be the GC himself in completing his home."
