It was pretty good. It was a good deal. They did a good job. The price was what it was. We got a bit of a deal on a coupon that we had. The big deal price was $199. There were additional costs because they did more work than that. It looked great after they got done; it still does. They hauled away the branches and other debris. They were efficient and straightforward. There was no hassle; we liked that. We liked the service. We thought they were good. We would use them again if we needed them.

He was great, we had one tree removed and he was very professional.

Once I was able to get them here it went like a dream, really great price for the work that was done. I had to call quite a few times as a reminder to come out and put me on the schedule but honestly worth it for the price and quality of service. It was a small job but they were here for a few hours left the yard immaculate and pruned the trees very well. I wont have to worry about doing it again for a few years. i have an ornamental tree that will need to come down next year I will call this service!

Very responsive to my calls/ messages.  Estimate and job scheduled and performedquickly.  Joe and his team was professional and knows their stuff.  Cleaned up after job completion and texted to followup. Highly recommended.

They arrived promptly to look at the two trees in my yard that need to be trimmed back.  Said that they could do the work and drew up a plan.  There was a delay in having them come back to do the actual  work.  It took about a month until they put me on the schedule; however, they did promptly reply to my calls, asking when they would come.  When they put us on the schedule they did arrive as planned and did the work efficiently.  They cleaned up after the work.  I was satisfied and would use them again.

I see that the stump is gone, but it didn't look like the tree was pruned at all. The $200 was what I paid for via Angie's List, and I feel that because the job was too small that they really didn't pay too much attention to me. They didn't even let me know when they were coming to do what I needed them to. No calls.

Everything went well! They came out about three weeks after I purchased the deal. I spent more than the big deal amount. We spent about $875. They were very thorough and explained, when I requested, what needs to be done. They also recommended what we need to do in addition for the tree to be more sturdy. I was looking for a couple of other tree services on Angie's List so his coupon also helped in reduction of the cost.

It turned out really well. The only issue I had was that it took a while to actually get them to come out but it turned out exceptionally well. They came out 2 weeks ago to do the work and we spent about $374 in total with them. There are 4 backyards that meet- mine and 3 additional neighbors- and one of those neighbors has a 100+ year old oak tree which hung into all our yards. So there were a lot of deal branches that got caught up from past storms in this tree. So he took out all the deal branches and he cut additional branches that were causing excessive shading in my yard and one that was hanging over my garage. I went to my neighbor and advised him of what I was doing and suggested that they get an estimate for the same work to be done to his side and he agreed to it and we ended up getting our work done on the same day. So I got the guy another job.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was done very well. It just got completed late last week. They did the whole thing for the price of the big deal. They did an  excellent job for the money. They came with a number of people, and finished in just over an hour. They were friendly, helpful, and if you asked them to do something extra, they did it. They were very good. I would use them in the future.

This was the third or fourth time I had used Hardwood Trees (Joe O'Rourke), and it has always been the same: they do what they say they will do, when they say they will do it, and for the price they quote. No nonsense, no bait-and-switch on pricing. Very reliable and honest, and they do good work. I would use them again for any tree needs I had. (I recommended them to my neighbors on either side, and both used Hardwood's services, and both said they were extremely pleased.) I don't know much about tree-service pricing, but Hardwood's quote was less than their competitors', according to my neighbor, who had priced out her job with several others.

The job went well overall. They were there when they said they would be and cleaned up after themselves. I felt the price was somewhat high.

Crew of four took 4 hours on one day, and 1 hour on a follow-up day to complete this work.

Overall, the service was excellent. They were very prompt when I called for an appointment, extremely well priced, and very professional.

They were responsive and came through with the estimate on a timely basis. The estimate was competitive with all of the others that I got. They showed up when they were supposed to, cleaned up after themselves and we had no problems with them at all. Everything went as planned and the quality of the work was excellent.

I've used Hardwood Tree Service in the past. They do excellent tree work at an amazingly low price. Jim O'Rourke who runs the business is an expert. The crew were nice, clean and professional. I believe this an honest company because they don't charge for extras and there are no surprises. They know what they are doing.
