GOLD SEAL TRANSMISSIONS

Went to Gold Seal Transmission today to discuss with Cort (the owner of Gold Seal) future work for my wife's VW Beetle. I went to three different review websites and found that this firm earned 5 out of 5 Star ratings for all reviews submitted. I could not believe their stellar performance for all customers’ ratings, which exceeded at least 30 reviews. Cort appears to be an exceptional business man but also a kind and gentle person. He performed an inspection on my wife's car with their machine and also drove my wife's car to determine that the transmission was performing properly. I've made an appointment with him to service the transmission, which will include the following: - Flush out transmission system completely - Remove old and install new filter - Install new transmission fluid according to VW Specifications Their estimate cost to perform the above work is approximately $300 as compared to a VW Dealer who quoted me that to do this work at their facility would be approximately $500. They also do other car repair work as well. I will write a new review after they performed the above repair as well. PS: there was no cost for the above worked performed to determine that the transmission was working properly

When they had trouble getting the part on time, they arranged for a car
rental for us if we wanted it and took a couple of hundred dollars off
the cost for the inconvenience.  It took longer than we expected, though not really their fault.  The supplier sent the wrong part and they were responsive and apologetic whenever I called. They are knowledgeable, honest, fair. 
Though I hope never to need them again, I would recommend them to anyone
who needs transmission work.  Great outfit!

This is an incredibly professional outfit. They could have hit me for a transmission rebuild. Honesty is hard to find these days. It took about half an hour for them to diagnose the problem. I had my hand on my wallet and they waved me off. I'm from Virginia and was very lucky to locate such a fine business while traveling.

Guy ans his techs diagnosed problem and made repairs necessary. Guy was friendly and honest. Would recommend Gold Seal to anyone need transmission work.

GOLD SEAL IS VERY TRUE TO THEIR WORD. THERE WERE NO SURPRISES AND THEY FINISHED THE CAR

Gold was recommended to me by a friend who had used them to rebuild his transmission a couple of years ago and was pleased with their service,Guy was professional from my first phone call and after inspecting my daughter.s 2000 Honda Accord informed me that the transmission needed replacement,they were upfront with the estimate which was 30% less than Honda Dealer quoted and offered a longer warranty than was offered by Honda,Upon completion in 1 day Guy explained what they had done and showed me the Honda parts they used and they offered a 1500mi free inspection to ensure everything was OK.I would not hesitate to recommend their service and it was a pleasure to receive a final bill that did not vary from the estimate
