Fantastic all-around experience. Jason had his team arrive on time, and fixed the problem in no time at all. Very professional, and were diligent in cleaning up the workspace when done (clog was caused by a buildup of black grease over the years). I don't think those pipes were EVER cleaned out before.
I will have no problem calling Jason Mazzer and his team again for any other plumbing issues that arise in the future. Thank you!!

Provided estimate, including getting permits and arranging inspection. Though design and installation met code, fire inspector was concerned due to issues with other units in complex (mostly propane BBQ units too close to buildings) and complex's insurance policy. After documenting that insurance policy was not an issue, worked with fire official to develop modification to the design which would make it acceptable. Modifications made promptly and project completed.

The result, we did pass inspection. His work made this possible.

Mr. Mazzer changed our permit to add his name for the work and set up an inspection time and date. He said he would be back shortly before the inspection to run a pressure test. Mr. Mazzer did not show up and did not answer our phone call nor called back in time for the inspection.

The results of the inspection revealed the Jacuzzi water temp was still too high. The pressure test failed.

He showed over an hour late and charged 475.00. He broke the vanity top in the bathroom when he removed the sink to replace the faucet. He left smeared putty on the floor; it looked like he had tried to wipe it up. I called him about the broken vanity. It took him a week to return my phone calls. He said he didn’t know anything about the broken vanity. I told him to come over a look. He couldn’t come over any day before 9:00 a.m. or after 4:30 pm even though he lives 10 minutes away from my house. He agreed to come on Saturday June 11, 2011 and 9:00 am. He called on Thursday June 9th to confirm he would be there.

He never showed.

I sent him a letter stating that I was going to have the vanity top repaired and I would send him the bill. I told him if he doesn’t pay the bill I will take him to court. I have not yet repaired the vanity (I am getting quotes) and he has not called me about this.

FIRST UPDATE: On Fri., June 24, 2011, the day after this posting appeared, Jason called me. He apologized for not showing two weeks earlier, saying he had had an emergency. He also said he'd been real busy, that's why it took 2 weeks to call me again. He said he would come to my house Sat. morning at 10am to look at the damage.
At 11am he finally showed. He looked, said of course he'll pay to fix the damage. He told me that he had a lot of problems removing the sink from the vanity. He also said that the cheap faucets from Home Depot are hard to work with. I told him I had bought the faucets from Davison in Paramus-these were the good quality faucets. He stopped talking after that.
I told him I will send him the bill after I get it repaired and he said he will pay it.
I'm hoping my next update will say he paid it.

SECOND UPDATE: One month after I send him the letter, he sent me the check.

THIRD UPDATE: (hopefully this is my final dealing with this man) Since updating this evaluation was not my highest priority, I didn't get around to it until Feb. 2012. Jason actually had the nerve to call me in January asking if I would update this listing showing that he paid me, or maybe I could delete this review. He explained that he has a good rating with Angie's List and, with my review not finished, it makes him look bad. I'll let the reader decide if all the good reviews, which seem to happen right after a bad review, are the more accurate ones.

Jason was at our home when he said he would be there. He did the job quickly and professionally He was most helpful with additionalo info. In fact he saved us a few $$$$.

Jason provided an estimate of the work and described the steps that would be involved so his work could coordinate with other contractors on the project. Jason performed all work described within the price he quoted. All work was done professionally. He and his team were great to work with. We will not hesitate to use him again and would recommend him to anyone.

The came to our home, to analyze our heating requirements, made a recommendation for a furnance. Within two days, we received an estimate in the mail. Once we selected them, they requested the permit. They removed the old oil furnance and replaced it with the new gas furnance and thermostat in 1 day and bled all radiators. The next day, they ran the pipes inside walls from the basement to the attic in preparation for installation of base board heat in the attic. The following day, they installed the baseboard and the thermostat in the attic. All work was neat and clean done at the end of each day. About a week later, we called them back to check a radiator that was not heating up. They came the next day to blead the radiator and gave us instructions on how to do it ourselves if we continued to have a problem. The work peformed passed city inspection.

The employee that I spoke with was courteous and pleasant and agreed on an appointment for two days later to come to our home and fix a leaking toilet. On the day of the appointment he failed to come on time, he was late by more than a half an hour. No one called to tell me he was going to be late and we canceled the appointment.

HE WAS CONTACTED AFTER READING AN AD. IT WAS DURING HOLIDAY SEASON OF XMAS and NEW YEARS. AFTER NUMEROUS CALL BACKS and DEALING WITH ANS SERV FINALLY GOT IN TOUCH WITH HIM .APP T WAS MADE, HE THEN CAME TO SEE THE JOB REQUEST WHICH WAS PURCHASE and INSTALLATION OF 2 NEW TOILETS, 1 NEW SINK, REPAIR OF KITCHEN SINK FAUCET, REPLACEMENT OF TRAP WITH PVC PIPING and POSSIBLE DRAIN CLEANING IN 2 PLACES. AN APPOINT WAS MADE FOR FOLLOWING WEEK ON A FRIDAY. MY WIFE TOOK A DAY OFF FROM WORK TO TAKE CHILD TO DOCTOR SO I COULD WAIT FOR THE PLUMBER[S].HE THEN CALLED 10 MINUTES AFTER APP T WITH AN EXCUSE THAT HE COULD NOT MAKE IT BUT WE THEN AGREED ON THE FOLLOWING SATURDAY. HE AGAIN PROFESSED TO KNOW ALL OF THE WORK THAT HAD TO BE DONE,ALL PARTS NEEDED and SO ON. I WAITED LIKE A MORON THE NEXT SATURDAY FOR MR MAZZER TO APPEAR. DID YOU SEE HIM? I NEVER DID. HE NEVER CALLED . ALL I COULD GET WAS HIS ANSWERING SERVICE. I GIVE HIM AN F OR D OR WHATEVER. IF YOU WANT A PLUMBER BE SURE TO SKIP HIM.

Was there a short time and did the job quickly. Was very neat, thorough and cleaned up after himself. Excellent job, very satisfied and would definitely hire him again.

He did very good work and I was very pleased.

I THINK THEY WERE VERY GOOD. I WAS HAPPY WITH THE RESULT. THEY WERE VERY NEAT AND VERY DEPENDABLE. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND CALLED WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD.
