Thomas M Keeler Restoration

A terrible experience. Thomas Keeler was very dishonest in his pricing and his ability to do the job. He never provided a written contract for the work he proposed, instead he provided a written estimate which he later manipulated and backdated to remove work he agreed to complete. The completion date was a driving force in our selection of a builder due to the school year starting and a pregnant wife. In the end, we were displaced from our home 6 weeks beyond the agreed upon completion date. Our home was treated like a dumpsite. Workers openly smoked cigars in the house and the entire house was left in a state of filth from start to finish. For weeks, we passed by to check progress and nobody was there past 2:30 pm. The progression of work was totally mismanaged, in one instance the floor subcontractor had to remove finished quarterround form the baseboard moldings because he had to finish the floors. The work was never completed and I had to hire an outside company to finish the job. The bill was outrageous and over double the original estimate for a job that was 50% complete. The list goes on and on.....I would strongly recommend against using TMK restoration. It was a nightmare that nobody should endure in the name of home improvement.
