Very smooth and successful

Korkmaz's selection was incredible. Deniz worked with our condo association to remove and replace the floor. The workmanship was outstanding (and quick); Deniz himself delivered the rugs. We highly recommend them for their wide selection of rugs and flooring and for their attention to the removal and installation of the flooring. While we pray that we never need to go through the agony of a flooded apartment again, I know that we would certainly go back to Korkmaz for help.

They did an excellent job. We bought the hardwood floors and ceramic tiles from this store and they did the installation. They did an excellent job. Very responsive people. Everything went very well.

After first reaching out to another company and being very unsatisfied with how the process was handled, we then reached out to 
Korkmaz. They were extremely easy to work with, diligent, professional and reasonable. They were very responsive and did a beautiful job. Their installer even came back a second time to make a minor repair that we requested.

We were looking for carpet for out basement and stairs. We were recommended by Mohawk to go to Korkmaz Rugs and Flooring because we were looking for a specific carpet called SmartStrand and they were a dealer. Best decision we ever made! They have a huge showroom with a million samples. Salespeople were very knowledgeable and helped me to make the right decision..We love our carpet!

Korkmaz refinished and stained old wood floors in our new house that were covered for years with carpet. Dennis came to measure and gave a very good price. The guys that came to actually do the floor were on time and professional. We were so pleased with their service that we used them again for another floor staining a month later on a relatives house. Korkmaz also installed 3 bedrooms of carpet in our house. Their selection is huge and prices are fair. I would recommend Korkmaz to anyone looking for wood floor refinishing and carpet. They also have a large tile selection, but we did not need tile.

This is the second time we have had work done on our home by Korkmaz Rugs & Flooring.  As always, it was a pleasure working with Deniz.  We had some old carpeting removed from our basement (and the stairs) and the floors leveled for new flooring.  After discussing what we wanted to accomplish, Deniz gave us several excellent suggestions.  We selected a floating vinyl flooring that will stand up to the moisture in the basement but looks like hardwood floors.  The floors look amazing and really makes our finished basement look like a nice family room.  Korkmaz Flooring was professional, responsive and they did excellent work.  Given how much work they did, the pricing was very fair.  We will definitely use Korkmaz Flooring in the future.

Our living room is on a cement slab and had three layers of old vinyl flooring.  We spoke with Deniz who gave us excellent options in our budget for new flooring.  We then purchased the flooring and had Korkmaz remove our old flooring and level the floor.  They installed new floating hardwood floor.  Deniz came to give us an estimate on a weekend, which was greatly appreciated.  His crew was professional and prompt.  They installed the flooring and cleaned up after themselves.  The floors look fantastic, and I will be using Korkmaz again for my next project.

we have hardwood floor intall for our whole condo as part of a total renovation. korkmaz did a wonderful job. denis found a brazilian teak in expresso finish for us, which look great. the whole process from measurement, picking the hardwood,and actual installation was done professionally. i could recommend them to everyone

Went to the store and spoke to the sales person about what we would like and went with what the sales person recommended.  The carpet seems to be good and we are pleased with it.  We did have  a problem with the nails on the tact strip coming through on the stairs.  They did respond quickly to the issue and came and banged the nails down to fix the problem.  There seemed to be a communaticons issue twice.  We were to receive a call for installation and one for the fix.  Both times we had to call them.

I was on a tight schedule and needed to get these rooms carpeted ASAP. I went into the showroom on saturday afternoon and by 3pm tuesday all three rooms were carpeted. Price was excellent! The quality of the carpets were phenomenal! We bought 3 different styles and 3 different colors. Installers arrived on time and were very pleasant. Cleaned up after themselves. Will definitely be using them again in the future!

From start to finish their service was excellent. Gail helped us select the flooring that was best for our needs, allowing us to take home samples to try in our kitchen. Dennis did an excellent job of measuring and suggesting the best way to proceed to make our kitchen warmer. We have always had a problem with cold in the kitchen, due to a lack of insulation when the kitchen was updated 20 years ago. The installers came as scheduled and worked the entire day ripping up the old and installing the new. They came back at 8 AM the next day to install the actual flooring. Again they worked all day and completed the job as promised. They cleaned up and took all debris with them. The floor looksbeautiful and the kitchen is warmer!! I highly recommend using Korkmaz. Oh, and did I mention their price was very reasonable.

My wife and I were shopping for two area rugs for almost
six months, we went to almost every big name store possible but we weren’t
happy with quality or pricing.
Finally we came across Korkmaz
Rugs and Flooring on route 17, at first we thought the same thing another
hour or so of looking and not being happy. But we were wrong, the quality, pricing
and customer service blew us away. We finally bought our two area rugs and also
ordered new tile for entrance way. We now will only recommend Korkmaz to our friends
and family.

except for loose furniture, they moved all furniture, and even took apart our beds and put them back together. moved all furniture back, and took away old carpets. i went to to other local merchants, as well as home depot and loews, and no one could match the price, the quality, and the moving of furniture and taking apart the beds and putting back together. i will use again, and have already recommended to others.

My experience with them went great; it was a great place. They did a great, terrific job. The salespeople were extremely helpful. It was just very nice. They were very friendly, very nice and very knowledgeable. It was actually a pleasure working with them. They were very fairly priced. I would definitely use them again.

Got a great deal on a beautiful area rug. Price was better than what I found online. I will definitely be coming back. :)

From start to finish these guys did an excellent job! Selection of color and style was the hardest part for me. Our salesperson worked with our budget without losing our style. They delivered and installed my family room carpet and bedroom hardwood floor on time and left it sparkling clean. Our salesperson was very helpful and patient and the installer was clean and fast. I love the way our rooms look! We even found some niknaks for our family room shelves. I am working with them now to renovate my kitchen. I'm so excited I found them, it's a one stop shop.

It went great. I had shopped around for laminate floors for a while I even had Empire come in to give me an estimate, the prices I was getting were outrageous. I went to Korkmaz and he had a wide variety to choose from and the price was reasonable. They came to my house to measure and then I picked out the floor and color I wanted. We set up a date for installation and the guy who did the floor was right on time. He worked straight through from 9:00 to 2:30 all by himself and did a great job. He was very nice and worked very diligently. I am really happy with the floors they also explained how to care for them.

I highly recommend Korkmaz. It's nice to do business with people who so knowledgeable about their product. Everyone who works there is really very nice. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

I was extremely satisfied with the work performed. From the day I put down the deposit they called me when the products were in, they returned my calls promptly, they showed up on time and the floors look great. After researching approximately 10 places their prices were similar but they worked with me on the price and other extras. Not only was the job great, but their customer service was top notch and that means a lot to me.
I would definitely use them again in the future.

The Flooring is Beautiful. It is the first thing everyone notices when they enter the house. The cost of the flooring was very reasonable, and the selection as well as the quality of flooring at Korkmaz was outstanding. IF my wife decided not to make this her project...this would have gone without a hitch, and I would have saved about $3000.00. Point is...just because you buy top quality, exotic hardwood flooring, doesn't mean that HGTV and the DIY network is coming to your home to install it perfectly for a modest fee. One last thing - The sales associate who had "helped" us didn't seem to listen to a word we had said, at any time, or at any of the three visits. She always had the perfect color, or style for us although she didn't know who we were, or never saw or home, or asked us more than two questions.

My family is currently living in a hotel because there is a stop order. They padded the bill as I found out from obtaining estimates later. Do not hire people who do not listen to you. I have no idea how much this disaster is going to cost now. They do not know what they are doing and even questioned the fact that in Kearny you need permits.

I read the response to my remarks that were made by the owner but whether I work 2 jobs or not it is not an important issue. My husband had a massive stroke years ago and I work 2 jobs to support my family. Secondly the owner did not state in his rebuttal that he failed to get a licensed plumber as required on the permits and when he submitted the original permits he put the name of a licensed plumbing agency on them and then started the work and never called the company to come and do the work. When the building inspector came he aked for the plumber's license and had the owner of the licensed plumbing agency with him and when there was no license produced the work was stopped on my home and Korkaz had to pay 8,000 in fees. It was at this time that I had no trust in the company anymore and demanded my added hotel bill be paid for the inconvience. I always knew I would have to stay in a hotel for the bathroom remodeling but in the 2 weeks I stayed in the hotel with my daughters, the workers did not come on the weekends and when it snowed they did not come to do any work also because my family was in and out of the house at odd times and when I questioned this I was told by Denis, the owner, that it was because of the snow that they did not come, and I thought it very odd since I made it to work and so did my daughters on at least 2 of the 3 snow days. I offered to rent a hauler for all the garbage but he said no and would clean up the mess. The mess with nails and jagged wood was laying in my alley way and extended to the sidewalk and I had to really prod him about taking it away and I was afraid someone, especially a child, walking by might get hurt this is unacceptable. Denis the owner of the company would not listen many times and as for the lighting, he had them place the lights on the wall so high up that they give my ceiling a nice glow and are basically useless in the bathroom for seeing especially when you need to put makeup on. Denis also would tell me I needed to get a door or Gayle his assistant would call and when I would get something that day he would say he already got it and some things he took upon himself and did not ask my likes or dislikes. The tile man spoke to me more about getting the soap holders and ledges before the owner did. I lost trust in his services when he made remarks about paying my hotel bill which he reimbursed the portion back to me after the work was shut down on my home because of his shady work ethic. Denis at the end also tried to offer me all these rugs for my hallway or living room if I would retract my Angie's list statement. It was very tempting but after saying it was nice of me to pay your hotel bill in a not nice way, I refuse to be bought to give a good rating. He did not follw the rules set in the permits and that is essentially breaking the law and the permits protect us as a consumer, if he had not gotten the permits I would have been fined by the town and think of what it looked like for the man who owns Courageous Plumbing who is a very nice man. I am not hard to please but for the 16,000 paid to him and I bought all the fixtures and tub and vanity and toilet I can be very fussy and when you own a company and get caught in a lie why should I or any other consumer trust you and to try to bribe me to change my Angie's list report is wrong.

The people at Korkmaz are very friendly and helpful in the showroom. I read the good reviews here and did not shop around for prices. I believe that the price was reasonable though. They were willing to bring the samples to out house so that we could be sure about our color decision. I am so glad that they did because the lighting in our house is so different than in their showroom. We did look at laminate flooring too, but found them to be too expensive and went with someone else. The installation of the carpet went smoothly, but I was concerned when I saw that it was only one guy. They were able to squeeze me in on Saturday afternoon and the carpet overall looks great. He was able to do it fairly quickly and was very nice. I have a couple of small complaints, but I've never had carpet installed before, so I'm not sure what is "standard". Some of the edges by the molding don't look as finished as it does in other parts of the room and the installer saw that the carpet kept the closet door from opening correctly, but did not fix it or me. As far as first carpet installation experiences go, this one wasn't so bad.
