You are correct this year has a been a crazy year trying to continually satisfy our customers due to the large delays in supplier material and shipping issues caused by the Corona virus. Our normal lead time for getting a job done from date of deposit is 3 to 4 week. Its now taking us over 10 weeks to process customer orders. You are correct and I did apologize for the delay and the poor communication. I have been in and out of the building due to my entire family effected by the virus. My dad who is 85 years old was hit hard with the virus and was in the hospital for 6 weeks causing my focus to be a one sided. I am glad we did get your job done and want to thank you again for your business. We install over 1200 residential jobs per year and not all go according to the plan, but what we do well is keep coming out until the job is completed and do our best to satisfy the customer. I do agree with the salesman and would avoid having ivy grow on your new wood fence. The moisture from the ivy will decrease the life of your wood fence over time. We do not remove ivy or do landscaping, we just install fence and railing. We often will offer suggestions to help the homeowner. After reviewing my past emails during I did not receive any pictures and I was never notified 30 days ago when the job was completed that you had any issues or concerns with the clean up. We would have been back out the next day to clear up any issue you may have had as is our normal protocol when a customer has an issue with a fence installation that was just installed. You did a final walk though with our installer and did not state anything at that time about additional clean up or dirt removal that was needed.
