Steve and his team was punctual, professional and cleaned up after them. The quality of work was excellent barring some minor plumbing issues that deteriorated our usage of newly upgraded bathroom.
"The added additional work onto what the contractor gave them a time estimate on first of all. They added tile work AFTER the estimated time frame was given. Second and equally important, as per their request, the contractor was only allowed to start at their house after 9am on a particular day after 11am on another as the wife had things to do. When asked what our hours of work were, we stated 8am-4:30pm give or take. We were told at the start of the job that they have a toddler who was not an early riser. The guys were never really allowed a full 8 hour day to work. That is not conducive to getting things done in a timely manner in the construction world. Another contributing factor was the unforeseen fact that in making the built in closet and at other points of this remodel there were unaccounted for problems that had to be addressed. The built in had to be reconfigured because of the chimney that was directly in the way. As it is in most remodels, the homeowner forgets the fact that they add on work and situations arise that cause the project to take longer then estimated."
. Rooms in need of repair included a complete kitchen remodel, complete bath remodel, 2nd bathroom reconfiguration, and extensive ceiling, wall and floor repairs in 3 bedrooms, living room, dining room, hallway and basement. Several rooms had to be completely gutted, relocated, reconfigured and/or rebuilt into what is now my dream home. When the insurance company short changed me on the claim, Johnson's Odd Jobs contacted them, requested a re-inspection and fought tirelessly until they won the battle of getting me more money for repairs. They beat their competitor's pricing and were very professional, accommodating, considerate and caring. I just can't say enough about them other than that I they will be my sole contractor of choice for any future projects. Before the renovation, this was a house. It is now my dream home! Thanks Johnson's Odd Jobs!
