I just have to write this because this is no way to do business or to treat people. I used this company some time back for a partial roofing, I must say I was satisfied with the work and planned on using them when the rest of the roof needed to be done, so I had saved the contact information. When the storm hit NJ, I lost a section of siding from my house, I called the Tuesday right after the storm and he told me he would have someone out probably in a few days to look at it - I certainly understood, neither of us had power and I knew there were a lot of others still checking out their damage -- told him just wanted to be sure I was put on the list. That Friday the girl in the office called, said someone would probably be out within the next couple of days since I was close by. The following Friday - no one still had shown and no word. This past Friday (Nov 16th) I called again told her no one ever came --- asked if they were coming or if I should find someone else. She said she would put a call out to him right away and get back to me in five minutes. She never called back and still never did hear from her (now the following Tuesday). I am sure they are busy with bigger jobs - but a simple phone call back or just stopping by would have been professional. And maybe even if they came the first time like they said - the job would have been done quick and everyone would be happy. After no call on that Friday, I tried someone else on Saturday--- but now seems everyone is booked for some time and who knows when I will get someone. Winter is coming fast - partial insulation is exposed. I was going to have him see about doing some other work while when he came - and won't be long now until I will be needing a new roof --- I know this is one company I will never call again.
Description of Work: No work was performed. And after the way I was treated will never be called on again to do any work.

They kept adding on charges as the work was being done because their estimate was not thorough and didn’t mention certain items that needed to be addressed.

We entered into contract on 9/29/07. We were told that the work would be completed by end of October. Work was not completed until April, 2008. During the holidays there was a great big blue tarp covering the front of the house. The windows were completed first. They were OK. When they put in the new front door it was supposed to be already stained, it wasn't. They had to come back at a later date to stain the door. The main problem was the front porch. When they reached a certain point in the porch, they were supposed to have the inspector come out and approve before they could continue. There were 3 different stages that needed approval and the inspector was never notified to come out and inspect. We received a notice and order of penalty on 1/22/08 that stated we were in violation of the State Uniform Construction Code Act. Percario's company had totally completed the new porch and had to take it all down again in order to make the proper adjustments to satisfy the inspection. They also used limestone for the top of the steps. The first level of steps had 2 different colors of limestone which did not look good at all. They were not going to replace it. Eventually it was replaced because they had to take down the entire new porch. During this period I would try to get in contact with Percario to find out what was going on, what happened and why. My phone calls were not returned promptly and sometimes not at all. I would have to keep calling them and was constantly told that my contact was not available and they would leave a message for them to call me back. Needless to say there are parts of the front porch that require fixing.
Description of Work: Front service walk demo & disposal of concrete. Demo front 2 sets of steps. Install new limestone steps w/ retaining wall on 1st set close to the curb. Extend front porch from 6 ft to 12 ft and install 3 sets of railings - PVC(bulky posts 4x4's) Install new Therma Tru entry door w/ 3/4 oval raised panel in cherry stain, interior and exterior. Bright brass hardware. Bright brass caning Install new full view 5-star storm door. Front of house - cultured stone on front of house. no dormers included. Fieldstone, New England series from Stone Works. Interlocking pavers installed on front service walk and left of house. Build 2 flower beds adjacent to garage, 23x3x18. Reframe 6 basement windows and install new hoppers(Insulated glass). Install 4 double hung windows in specified areas. Remove roots where specified. Repair Bilco door masonry.

The owner, Joe, came to give the estimate. He was very informative, explained in detail the different materials available. Made recommendations based on issues with the existing roof. (Ice dams form on one side.) Made suggestions on work to be done while the roof was off. No pressure to do any of the work suggested. His was one of four estimates and was the second lowest. He started the work on the day and time scheduled and completed it as estimated. It was a one day job for the major work. They came back a second day to complete the last section on the flatter section of roof and to clean up. They did a very good job cleaning up. The foundation landscaping was protected with canvas tarps draped from the roof. The project manager kept me informed as to progress and took care of any issues that came up. They went beyond their scope and actually finished off the inside of the skylight. Added trim wood, caulked and painted. They also connected the new downspout to my existing underground drain pipe. The dumpster was removed promptly after the work was completed.
Description of Work: Remove old skylight and old shingles. Install ice and water shield. Install new skylight. Remove old attic ventilator. Install new ridge vent, aluminum roof edge, deck armor and two vents for bath fans. Install new 6" gutter on one roof edge and short section over entry. Install new 4x3 downspout from 6" gutter. Install new GAF Timberline HD shingles.

I received the automated email response. I then had to call two more times. First time I was told that "Mike" would call me to do an estimate by end of week--no call came in. I placed a second call the following Monday and was told that "Mike" would call to do estimate in the coming week. But, the killer was that "she" (whomever I spoke with) said, "if you don't hear from us, call again." Are you kidding me? I have now joined Angie's List to find a contractor; I have responded appropriately to the automated email; I have called TWICE and was twice assured that "Mike would contact me! If you are too busy, be honest; say so. If for some unknown reason you do not want to do the job, say it is not a job for you. If you don't want to do work in my town, then be honest, say so! Don't keep me playing games for weeks and then never even give me a response! Email assured professional, courteous, & efficient customer service; sadly this was not true. Not sure how this company gets such a good rating on the LIST. At this point I am sorry that I spent the money on the LIST. Masonry job has now been professionally, courteously, efficiently & satisfactorily completed by an unlisted contractor!
Description of Work: No services were performed, not even the courtesy of an estimate!

Response from Joe Percario General Contractors LLC
We spoke with (removed member name) on 6/13/12 and explained that the work was too small for our company. At that point we handed over the customers contact information as promised to a local handyman contractor to call and see if they were able and willing to provide the service.

UPDATE: Mrs. Purohit: I would like to spend some time to recount the issues with you. You ordered a Therma-Tru double door, model FCM 910 with a single antique brass Parthenon Handle. This door was installed in your house. Afterword, we found that the glass insert slipped from its correct position. When the door was unpacked on my driveway we had brought the defect to JPGC Project Manager which he totally ignored due to lack of understanding for doors and non-professionalism on customers comments. We attempted to send a technician from Harvey Building Products to inspect the door and correct issue if possible JPGC initially ignored customers complains so we had to reach out to BBB (killed almost 6months) and later to Angie?s List. I set up the visit with you After we complained on Angie?s List JPGC and due to pending final payment Joe Percario visited my house to have a look at the defective door and we subsequently ordered a replacement door for you. Understand we ordered NEW door and there is no room for any type of issues correction at the customers? house. Glass door shifting down and space with in the left and right door where there is a leak of air and light are clearly a manufacturing defect. Based on your husband?s comments about the lack of a ?dummy? second handle, I agreed to add the second handle at our expense. This was to make up for the inconvenience. This was a part of the original work order which was missed in all the time the door was replaced. When the second door was installed, you complained about the variation in color of the antique brass handles. I pointed out then that the antiquing process is not exact. Antiquing is a process of creating the appearance of an aged metal. Metal does not age symmetrically. As a result the antiquing process is not symmetrical. There will always be variances as no two pieces are alike. This has since been explained to your repeatedly. Please let me tell you that customer does shop around and I can get you a pair of left and right handles with very same antique finish. Your handles were ordered with a difference of around two months which caused the difference in shade. Remember our original order was for an antique glass insert which your Sales guys had no knowledge that there are no such Therma-Tru door. The second door subsequently had the glass insert drop form position. We set up for a technician from Harvey Building Products to see and attempt to correct the issue. However, when the technician arrived, you would not allow him entry because ? you did not know him and felt uncomfortable? because you could not be sure of who he was, even though he was wearing a company logoed shirt and driving a company logoed vehicle. We do not know every technician coming to my house, and when he showed up he did not have any work order nor any company identification card Nor the Company logo on the shirt and his first question to us was what am I here for? We cannot see any truck or car from our house and painted truck does not tell me anything. Because of this we cancelled the visit. Subsequently, I worked with the manufacturer and we decided to replace the door. You selected the same door as a replacement. I started working with Harvey Building We had tons of phone calls and emails (with pictures of the issue) to Nino @ Harvey Building product explaining our issue. Where he apologized for all we had to go thru because JPGC project manager initially did not listen and ignored customers concerns. According to Nino such a defective door should not have left his plant and in case if it did than it should not be installed. He requested one more opportunity to get the door right the third time but because of past burns we were not comfortable going thru the same again but Nino promised us that if the third time the door fails he will refund us our money. Products to solve this issue once and for all. They discovered a problem with the manufacturing process and corrected this issue. They then started building another door to replace the one you had. As compensation for this inconvenience, Nino, the service manager at Harvey Building Products, worked with you and decided to give you a $1,000+ upgrade on the hardware, making this door a considerable upgrade from your original order. JPGC did not do right job in selling us the right door, we found Therma-Tru has good safety features which come with such door so we asked for it. This door was installed in late December. On January 30, 2013, you sent an e-mail to Joe Percario with complaints about the door. You stated that you had called 100?s of times and sent numerous e-mails. I checked our phone history and e-mail history and could find no records until January 30. Just with one order of Doors and Window?s we know almost 10 people in your office. After looking at our regular follow-ups with Angie?s List or Nino I do not think even the would believe your such statement. I started working with you to correct any issues you had. I sent a team out to correct these issues and work with the Harvey Building Products technician who was there at the same time. All issues were corrected except the corner pad which I had to order and your complaint about the variation of shades on the antiques brass hardware. In late April, you received another set of hardware from Harvey Building Products. I received the corner pads. We have e-mailed asking you to let us come out and install these parts. You have not replied to these requests. You have just e-mailed us stating you want a refund. After third attempt we do not have any trust that JPGC or Harvey Building Products are capable enough to deliver such a high end door and no more patience to deal with such kind of ignorance either. Customer Care of both the firms has failed to prove themself and so we the customers have to seek help from organizations like BBB and Angie?s List. We accept and apologize that ?Murphy?s Law? has been alive and well represented in this door issue. We have tried to compensate you each time to make up for the inconvenience. I am willing to discuss with you some compensation for this issue. However, we must be allowed to correct the issues first. We want to resolve this issue as much as you do. Despite the time line, we deserve the right to correct the problem. Totally agree with you but it?s already third time so no more. Just REFUND us our hard earned money and live us alone. Please let me know when we can come out and install the parts. This will give you the finished door you want. This is part of our warranty service. Warranty period has never started for the door because we have till now not received the door we ordered. All new door delivered has short weather strip, air and light leak where left and right door meet. Original door had great handles which we paid 400USD each and now they are garbage for us because Nino from Harvey Building Product never informed us that the new door cannot have those handles due to the extra feature he added. So with so called $1000+ upgrade we lost $800 of our investment.
Description of Work: We placed an order for 23 new replacement windows and new double door antique brass glass beading finished Therma-Tru door which cost in total 20,000USD. Removed direct contact details from my complain below due to respect. This complaint is against Joe Percario and below are the persons involved. we have filed a complain with BBB too and the case number is 80225716. Mr. Paul Shaw (Sales Rep at Joe Percario) We placed an order for replacing 23 windows and double door with Joe Percario’s on Oct 3rd 2011 with completion date no later than Dec 10th 2011 (as per the work order). We never got the door we ordered because we ordered a Glass Beading - antique brass finish door, (which is also mentioned in Percario's work order), however the door delivered was brass finished which does not match. More over this door was a defective door too (has gap between glass and wooden frame on the left side door whereas right side door did not have similar gap). This so called new door has various spots of piled paints all over. Really feels embarrassing to say to our guest that this is a new door. Mr. John D’Eletto (Project Manager at Joe Percario) We immediately and repeatedly brought it to attention of our project manager Mr. John D’Eletto that this door is defective, the pilled paints and the finish is not as per our work order. But ignoring customers concerns and giving lame excuses he went ahead with installation against customer’s advice. He advised us that he will patch the gap and cover the defect, so we requested Mr. John to get the door evaluated by the door company “Therma-tru”. Mr. John did call the dealer Harvey Building Products who supplied them the door, according to dealers representative (who visited my house) this door was defective and he also mentioned that this door should not have left his manufacturing location in first place and also the project manager (Mr. John) should not have installed this door either. Percario employees informed us that this door is factory stained, where else according to Mr. Mark from Therma-Tru (warranty dept) this is hand painted door. Along with all this now within a month even the glass on the right side door has slide down developing the gap between the glass and the wooden frame. We are now very much concerned about the durability, warranty and energy efficiency of this door and also about the 23 windows which Percario installed at my house in Nov’11. It’s been more than a month we are trying to get this issue resolve with Joe Percario’s team, however from the emails to and fro with the company it’s clear that they does not want to take any responsibility for their own work order and instead they are asking us to pay the final payment which will be due after the completion of the work. Mr. Randy (Operation’s Manager at Joe Percario) We got a call from Mr. Randy on the first day Joe Percario’s project manager and contractors started the window replacement job. They had removed 4 windows of my master bed room and Mr. Randy was asking me to make my second payment of 5000USD (as per the work order dated Oct 3rd 2011), because he was not updated with the change in work order by Mr. Paul Shaw via email agreement Oct 7th 2011 where as Mr. John D’ Eletto was also aware about the same and according to which we were supposed to pay only 3000USD which we did. Mr. Randy was threatening us, saying he will stop the work as is if we do not make the payment. Mr. Bruce Barnes (General Manager at Joe Percario) Now he has started threatening us in his email, of putting a lien on my property. In fact Joe Percario has already void/breached the contact by not completed the job as per the work order. Email attached. Conclusion/Request We are very much frustrated with this contractor and we do not have trust with their customer support & warranties either. So we would like to request that Joe Percario bare the entire expenses that we would incur for a new door, labor and warranty (including any expenses we incur for getting our new door). As per the change order email from Mr. Paul Shaw as on Oct 07th, 2011 we have already made the following payment as per the schedule Email of last payment agreement and details of payments made– On Fri, Oct 7, 2011 at 8:02 AM, Paul Shaw wrote: As discussed enclosed is the revised payments DEPOSIT-$5,000.00 (PAID CHECK) Check No 144 Affinity federal credit union Dated:10/04/11, $5000 START WINDOWS-$3,000.00 Check No 154 Affinity federal credit union Dated:11/08/11, $3000 END WINDOWS-$3,000.00 Check No 157 Affinity federal credit union Dated:11/22/11, $3000 START DOOR-$5,500.00 Check No 160 Affinity federal credit union Dated:12/02/11, $5500 END DOOR-$3,500.00 Final Payment Due on Completion of the work TOTAL COST-$20,000.00 Please e-mail to confirm the above and approx time funds will be in place. Any questions please call. Regards Paul Shaw Percario- Cell-908-512-XXXX During this entire process we even recommended Joe Percario to 2 of my friends, but their quot was pricy so they did not get the deal, however we did recommended them. However after all this mess we would no only not recommend them but would suggest no customer should make any advance payments to Joe Percario for any job. 02/22/2012 Receive Business Response We have been trying to work with the customer to resolve the issue of the door. He has not been cooperative during this process. The issues he has addressed on the peeling of the stain on the door frame and the loose glass are cosmetic issues. They are not structural. We have offered to correct these cosmetic deficiencies. The customer will not accept this. He wrongly feels that he should get a new door. The issue of the antique brass vs brass trim on the door glass could have been handled better. The sales person put antique brass on the order. However, antique brass is not available on the door ordered. Only brass was. I will point out that the project manager did not install a door that he felt was defective. He was not warned by the customer that this door was defective prior to installing the door. It was not until much later, after the door was installed, that the defects were noted by anyone. Reference the stain job itself. Harvey Building Products is an authorized representative of Therma-Tru. Therefore, when they stain a door it is considered a Factory job. They are authorized to act as the manufacturer in this capacity. Overall, the issue with the customer is to correct the issues with the peeling and the glass setting. We are more than willing to correct these issues. We have offered to fix these issues. The manufacturer has told the customer that they want to fix these issues. Representatives from our company and our vendor have made multiple visits with the customer to try to resolve these issues. The customer is preventing us from correcting these cosmetic issues, not us. The customer feels that we should sacrifice thousands of dollars in payments to us in lieu of correcting what are minor issues. - 02/23/2012 - We Replied Joe Percario is not trying to work with us they were calling us and threatening us to stop the work when they had removed my old windows and my house and family was in jeopardy during winter. Where my next and only option would have been to call 911 for protection of my family. All this because their operation manager was not updated with the lasted agreed payment plan with their sales person. We have made all our payments on time as per the agreed work order, however we still received an email from Mr. Bruce Barnes (General Manager at Joe Percario) that he would put a lien on my property. Why the customer was not informed before placing the order that only brass finished door is available and not antique-brass? And the work order should have been corrected by Joe Percario which shows their negligence towards the customer and the profession. This should be Joe Percario's responsibility to inform the customer and update the work order with our signatures. As we have previously stated that Mr. John D’Eletto (Project Manager) was immediately informed by us when the doors arrived and they were unpacked seating on my driveway. Same time we were taking pictures of our new door as we were excited to see it. During that time we noticed that left door and right door were not equal “structurally” which caught our attention. We also asked him and his two crew members to see if the Glass Beading was antique brass or brass? And all three of them confirmed that its brass. However according to John (Project Manager) he mentioned that door company would come later and replace the glass with antique Glass Beading and we should not delay the job of fixing the door frame. He also explained us that fixing the door frame and door are two different things. So we trusted him and agreed to continue. Not sure that our co-operation would turn out this way. Representative from Harvey Building Products when he was at our house for the first time to have a look at the defective door even he mentioned that this door should not have left his manufacturing plant and so he took pictures of the door gap by placing his car keys in the gap. So that he can attach it with the incident ticket he was about to raise for us. However something happened after he left and later when we asked him to give us the complaint number and also email us what he has filed, he never gave us any details. Last when we called him he replied saying please call Joe Percario and get the matters resolved. Now he does not even pick our call. We have not ordered a door with issue that would need a fix. We have ordered a new door which we have not received. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He dealt with my brother and I and we felt that some times there were communication issues. He would tell my brother one thing and myself something different. His work was good quality, but I did feel that he was a little over priced. I would definitely suggest getting several estimates before hiring this company.

When the owner(?) came out, we spent 30 - 45 minutes looking at my roof from the ground (I have a 3-story house) and from inside of the attic. He did take some pix. I felt the bulk of our time together was spent trying to convince me of how poorly my roof was designed and trying to sell me a much bigger job. Fine, I expected some of the "upsell", but I also expected to get what I paid for, not to pay for a sales call. It was especially disconcerting to hear that what I paid for isn’t what I needed to have done. I’m not sure how he could tell without having looked at my roof. I guess I was paying for a sales call. He left promising to mail me an estimate for the entire job right away. Weeks went by without receiving anything in the mail, so I called again and scheduled an appointment for someone to come out and complete the work I'd paid for (described above). I took the day off and waited for the roof guys to arrive. And waited, and waited. I called their office after lunch for an ETA. At the end of the day, I received a barely intelligible call (he was eating through the entire conversation) from the owner(?) indicating that I "should have received a proposal in the mail." He again promised to mail me the proposal. I note that he never apologized for not showing up and wasting my time. Again, weeks went by without receiving anything in the mail. I finally called and asked that someone come out and complete the work. A few hours later, I received another call. The owner(?) again offered no apologies and acted puzzled that I hadn’t received any proposal. He again said that I needed much more work done on my 10-year old roof, only this time indicating that “if the roof is only a couple of years old and is already having these problems …” Hmmm, was that just a sales line intended to instill fear? Bottom line, on 10/22/11 (2.5 months after purchasing the deal), roofers finally came out and completed the work I paid for. They were punctual and courteous.
Description of Work: On 8/5/11, I bought one of those Angie's List "Big Deals" whereby you save 60% on a roof maintenance package. I scheduled an appointment for what I thought was to complete the work: inspect roof, digital photos of EXTERIOR structures, resealing of pipe collars, exhaust fans/vents, and chimney flashing on up to 4 penetrations.

Response from Joe Percario General Contractors LLC
Joe Percario General Contractors never recieved information from (Member name removed) regarding a Roof Inspection. Last we spoke to the customer was in Decemember of 2007. We keep complete call records and have nothing indicating the customer reached out to us in 2011.

The initial review and proposal was very thorough, professional and informative. Joe made many proposals that will ensure that the roof will last for a "lifetime". This was followed by a second review by the project manager. He was extremely knowledgeable, thorough and answered all questions and concerns. The project then proceeded very well with all of the employees very conscientious, neat and willing to answer questions or concerns. Finally the project manager came back and inspected thoroughly. He responded well to some minor issues which are inevitable in such a project such as a damaged plant and a few stains. Overall, I highly recommend Joe Percario Contracting for roofing.

A gentlemen came and looked at my roof. He performed no repairs and would not even fix my chimney cap. The only thing he stated was moss was covering my roof but never gave me a proposal regarding a new roof. I felt it was a rip off and will not use this company again.

Joe Percario arrived for the roof inspection on time and in a very profesional manner. After he completed the inspection, he was able to discuss recomended work with photos of existing conditions and problems on the roof. We sat down and discussed the available options for the work , including our concerns over ice daming encountered this past winter and potential mold hazards. He was able to suggest a roofing system within our budget that would carry a 50 year guarantee and make us feel comfortable with the proposal. No other contractor we encountered did so. Beyond that Joe is a very personable guy and we found that we had mutual acquantances from Union County . During our discussions, my wife came home from an appointment with Pizza take out and we invited him to join us as he ad acomodated us with a meeting after work hours. He accepted and we had a pleasant conversaiton and concluded with signing a contract with him. We have had good and bad experiences with contractors in the past. This one has started out as among the best. Again I will follow up when the work is done, but Joe Percario certainly inspires the trust required to bring someone in to work on your home.
Description of Work: WE were very impressed with Mr. Percario's proposal and professionalism. He examined the roof in detail and provided alternatives. We didn't call them thinking that we didn't need a new roof in the first place. With reguard to his estimate, it was clearly more expensive than other contractors, but it was also much more complete and not completely out of line . I suspect that other lower estimates were cursory at best would have been plagued by added "surprises" once the work had begun. I will follow up once the work is completed. After our initial meeting, I was contacted by Mr. Pecario's project manager about 10 dyas later idicating they wee awaiting the permits and expected to be able to install the new roof in a few days.

After interviewing a number of contractors, my neighbor and I decided to go with Joe Percario. I originally met Joe at a street fair where he had a booth. It was nice to see the actual owner discussing his service instead of a person who wouldn't be able to 'talk shop;' My neighbor & I live in a semi attached home & needed desperately to replace the from wood shake siding. It was 30 years old and disgusting. We also needed new gutters. When Joe himself came out to the house, he took a lot of pictures, measurements and did a full walk around both houses. He then proceeded to map out the cost of the request project, but then recommended some smaller details for each of our houses to help 'finish' the house. None of the 4 other contractors did that. He thought outside the box. It didn't mean we had to do it, but brought to our attention the other items (soffits & fascia) which needed work. He wasn't the highest, but he wasn't the lowest either. Regardless, we liked this thoroughness, the quality of the product and professionalism. I waited until the job was completed before writing this report. The head contractor, Rocco, came a few times a day to make sure his men where completing the job. We only discovered one error, thanks to my husband, which was corrected the next day. We asked for white cornerposts and instead we got grey (the color of the siding). I called Rocco at 7 pm that evening & by 8 am the next morning the new white posts where delivered. The 3 men worked continuously, quietly and very neatly. I can't believe they each came only once to ask for the bathroom facilities. This is from a day from 8 am to 6 pm. Every evening all work tools were piled neatly on the lawn & covered, all walkway & driveways were swept & they used a leaf blower to clean up even more. The renovation exceeded all our expectations and we feel like we have a new home. I feel comfortable knowing I have a lovely house that will survive for many years to come. Do you know Joe? You should!!

The workers were polite and on time. They removed old roof and gutters and applied new roof and gutters and gutter mesh. They also removed roof exhaust fan. Joe advised they would not replace it as the new roof provided enough air circulation. Since the job was done in Sept, it wasn't until the following summer that I realized I disagreed with that assessment. With the summer heat, the central air struggles to cool down the upstairs bedroom level of the home. We need to use fans. Also, since I did not receive the warranty that my contract states I would receive, I called a few times and asked to speak to Joe. I was always routed to someone else's voicemail, who never returned my calls. Since Joe Percarrio was recommended by a friend, I foolishly did not get other estimates. While the new roof looks beautiful and there have been no leakage issues, I later realized I was highly overcharged for the project. That's when I joined Angie's List.

I had windows and siding done to my home. Joe Pecario Contractors was very good in coming out and giving the actual estimate and then following up with me to see if I was interested in choosing them to do my work. The salesman came out and did the initial measurements on my home, (Windows & Siding). After I signed the contract, a week later I made a phone call to JPC to find out if my windows and siding would be ordered because I had not heard from them. Upon my phone call I found out that the Project Manger who was assigned to my work had just gotten my file. He came out a day or two later to look at the job and to measure. Then, a week later their expeditor came out to measure the windows. He walked around my home and measured all the windows including the siding. The first window to come to my house was my new Bow window. It came a couple of weeks before all of the other windows. The Bow window is beautiful and the crew did a fantastic job installing it! When the remainder of the windows came to my home, after waiting for another 2 weeks, the crew went to install the windows and 3 of the 7 windows that were to be installed were the WRONG SIZE!!!!! I can't even tell you how upset I was to find this out. They installed the windows that were the correct size and then they had to "find" the correct sizes for the ones that were wrong. The correct sizes did come to my home a week and a half later and were installed. The crew who did the install of all of the windows did a great job. The siding went on the house next. The siding crew was spectacular! Although, I must tell you that there were only 2 guys to do the job, when the Project Manager said that he would get "an army of guys" to rip off the old siding and then put on the new siding. I get many compliments on the overall appearance of my windows and siding. I think the Project Management of the work could have been better and the communication and attention to detail could have been better. Customer service is very important, and your customer has to be happy and not left feeling disappointed.
