They were great! They were close by my home so I could walk over to there place.
They took care of 4 dining room chairs. They look so awesome. Redid screws to make sure tight and in place.The fabric was done with excellent care and the cushions were redone as well. Just could not believe how well they were seamed and redone. They even fixed one of the legs that fell off. So professional/

Overall service was very good. The only two items were they ran out fabric for the ottoman, and used left over fabric, and that the sofa area was not seamless run. Mario agreed to fix the ottoman once I get him the new fabric. Also, the sofa area could not be a seamless run because the fabric was not wide enough and would not match the pattern run of the back cushion. Mario also agreed to add in a couple of free pillows, we would just provide the fabric. I received a couple of quotes, and they were in the ballpark. We are planning to use them again.

They were fantastic. They will totally get an A. They were very helpful. They were very detail-oriented as far as feet cushions and suggesting what sort of density based on how much usage and like to do detailing around each seat but like a play thing. They came in ahead of time on the time frame. They were definitely price wise, well in line with everybody else. There was a lot of work involved and their price was way fair as compared to others.

They had me take a picture of the old chair/ottoman and email it to them for a price quote. They picked up the chair, arriving when they said they would. Took a bit longer than they told me, and I had to call them, but they then delivered the finished chair the next day right on time, and it looks beautiful.

I wanted to have just the cushions reupholstered on a sofa. The problem was that the back cushions were attached to the sofa. I went to five different fabric/upholstery places and every single one told me that it could not be done, that I would have to redo the entire sofa. I finally went to Mario at Aravena's who said that it could be done and that he would do it. He charged $75 per cushion (6) and $90 round trip for pick-up and delivery of the sofa, plus tax. I did not buy the fabric from him, although the shop does have a huge, very nice selection. I just happened to find what I was looking for elsewhere.
The job was completed wonderfully. I love the way it turned out. I was nervous all along until I finally saw the finished product since so many people had told me that it could not be done without wrecking the back of the sofa. But Mario was right! He even repaired a few unrelated minor tears and restuffed the cushions.
I was not in a rush to have this done. I would say that if you need something by a certain date, be very specific and follow-up. The sofa was not ready when I was first told it would be, but it was worth the wait.

It was fine. They did the job as agreed and on time. They picked up on time. They did a reasonably good job and we were happy with them. The price included the fabric.

Went to location 11/29/11 to pick material, very helpful. Cost of upholstery was $340 + material $342+- pickup and delivery $70. + tax. They said material would take about a week to come in and would I like it done by Christmas. Unfortunately I dropped the ball, or misunderstood, and didn't follow up for about three weeks or so. When I called, they said the material was in and they could pick it up any day that week. We set a date for pickup and they had the whole thing done and back to me in about 2 weeks. I was really impressed with the speed and quality of their work and they also made a pillow which I was not expecting. My only suggestion is that you follow up if you don't hear from them when you expect to. Other than that the service was great. The chair was about 10 years old but very rarely used, exceptionally comfortable, expensive, was too good to donate or give away but I really hated the material/color/pattern. When I bought a new couch Raymour Flannigan said it would cost more to reupholster than buying a new one, EA said they could do it but it would run at least $1,000. Decided to use this firm after reading Angie's List reviews - it looks fantastic and was cheaper than I originally paid for the chair when I bought it. Loved their work, they were great to deal with and work with you every step of the way. Highly recommend them and will use them to refinish two very old tables I have.

It was a complex piece and I was concerned about it. They did the job perfectly. I would recommend everyone to use them. I would use them in the future.

Aravena's came highly recommended from a fabric store - in fact, she suggested I use Aravena's instead of the showroom's in-house services because it would be more cost effective. I had 8 chairs reupholstered - the work was very inexpensive, but we got what we paid for. The seams are uneven (you can see the staples poking through), and the fabric pulls on some chairs. The work wasn't so poor that I wanted to have it redone, but I was disappointed enough that I will not use Aravena's again no matter the cost. Also, we had to really nag them about completing the work - and in the end it felt like a rush job after having the chairs and fabric for 4-6 weeks even though they promised us the work could be done in 1-2 weeks.

I had used Arazena before for upholstery - so I did not worry about quality issues. They told me where to find discount fabric if I wanted to use it or offered to order anything I wanted from the sample books. I provided the fabric from the discounter they suggested. They picked up on time, did beautiful work and brought it back earlier than they had promised. We are delighted. One thing - inquire about the filling for pillows if you prefer either a looser or firmer pillow style.

I had other quotes for over $3,000, and that was with my own material. They are very good. They picked it up and delivered it with no hassle. He was very accommodating. I'm taking my dining room chairs to him also. He also refurnishes furniture and does other work.
