A & B Mason

I used Arthur years ago in my house to install tile in my bathrooms in a house I was moving into. He was working nights off his day job at the time, but I was extremely impressed by the quality of his work (even when working at night)...the tile job was flawless and I forget what I paid at the time, but it was cheaper than I would have paid any other mason (if I remember correctly, he did it at half the cost of my other estimates). I used him a couple of years later to install some stone on my fireplace...again, flawless. This time, my chimney was crumbling. He was eager to do the work and stopped by in advance to have me choose the bricks...He ultimately installed a chimney with a design on it (in brick) that is quite unique. We are both proud of it. His price was below what I know I would pay the average mason. So I have him doing cement work where my driveway meets my house and cement work where my cement deck meets my driveway...all high quality work. All in all, I just need to tell whoever is reading this to use Arthur. He is a simple, honest, and talented craftsman. He is not trying to become rich, he is just trying to do what he does well....he is about the most sincere contractor I have ever met...going out of his way on a regular basis to share thoughts with me on how to do a better job no matter how simple the job. You will not be disappointed in Arthur...not in his price, nor in his work. If you are thinking of getting a mason, I can recommend no one better. He is solo, so don't expect him to do a job quickly if it is a huge job. He will, however, do it right. As an aside, do not expect someone with a glossy brochure or a lot of finese...he is a craftsman first and he puts his customers first...but he does not have the polish that some other contractors have, I consider it a plus.
