Selective Electrical Contracting

He provided a fair price and promised to send me a proof of insurance, during the initial contact we made plans for the work and the first step would be to provide me with the proof of insurance, i contacted him at least 5 times and he never to respond; he could have told me that he is not interested in providing the service. this behavior is a very disgraceful & rude way of doing business.

Service was professional. The owner Greg is knowledgeable, honest, and professional and so was his crew who took great care to do the job well. I am using them again for some bigger projects later such as rececive lights and upgrading my fuse box to 200 Amp.

We set up an appointment with Greg to come and see the scope of electrical work. He was very responsive and flexible with the time for visit. Greg arrived on time for the visit. He was very well prepared taking measurements and taking notes.
The next day, Greg called us with a quote. Since there were multiple electrical work, he gave us the option of fix price or charge by the hour. His price was by far the lowest when compared to other quotes. We ended up agreeing to work with Greg due to his professionalism, enthusiasm, and competitive pricing. As part of the process, Greg agreed to go to the building department to obtain the appropriate electrical permit. There was a complication with the permit and Greg was very accommodating and agreed to go the city next day since he had an opening early in the morning. This was beyond anybody’s expectation.
The work was performed as agreed. Greg even brought with him a smoke alarm and charged us a reasonable price. He was very efficient and finished the work on time without any delays. He verified all wires related to subpanel, installed the GFI outlets in the bathroom and kitchen, and installed the new smoke detectors. The cost came right in line to the initial estimate. He did such a great job that we asked him to add additional electrical work in the basement.
For us, Greg and Selective Electrical represent the very best of customer service. In my years of dealing with contractors, Greg has
been the best in responsiveness to the customer’s needs. I will go to Greg for all our future electrical work and would highly recommend Selective Electrical.

We received a call from one of our tenants in Belleville notifying us of their electricity being out in some parts of their apartment. Not know what the problem was, the tenants called us and we immediately got on Angie's List to find a reliable and FAST electrician. We needed someone to get out to Belleville asap and Selective was one of the few companies who had on-call electricians. After we called them, I'll say within an hour they were out at the tenant's apartment. They communicated with us throughout the entire process and with the tenant as well. They were personable and easy to work with.
They identified the problem and called us before starting the repair. We approved of the repair and the price. They proceeded with the work and got it done! The tenants were happy for their power was restored.

Usually contractors don't want to be bothered with such a small job, but Greg was very helpful and quick. He was a friendly person and easy to get along with. He was very straight-forward about everything, and he didn't try to scam me.
