Henry took my deposit on Nov 17,2020 saying the glass would take 2-3 weeks and today is Feb 3, 2021 and I cannot reach the company on the phone...I would have thought that after 10 weeks-he would have contacted me to deliver the glass. This is disheartening and unprofessional. I still believe he will make it right as I trust Henry to be a good person...but this is a disappointing situation. The work was promised before Christmas 2020 & it’s almost Valentine’s Day 2021. Sadly- Contractors forget that people work hard to hand them $700 cash and we still owe $500 more on delivery. This is hard earned Money- so I am heartbroken that I sit in my house an stare at my old window(pictured here) that I cannot see through- while Henry took my money and was careless with their obligation. $1200 for replacement glass for a window feels expensive but I was Willing to trust Rockaway Glass with this job. I’m so bummed out.

I got the reference from Handyman Matters, and it was a great referral. Henry was very professional, and provided excellent services. The price is very compatible and the timing is also very good. Henry said two weeks, and it is indeed two weeks. I would hire Henry again for any glass work for sure.

I called ROCKAWAY GLASS CO at end of august asking for a window repair. The workers came out measured the window and ordered a replacement. Around Sept 29th they came and put the window in. But, the replacement window glass doesn't match the other windows. The replacement window has a black line around it, and my windows have white lines.I pointed it out to the installers. They agreed that the window didn't match. They also failed to bring back two of my window screens that they took with them when they originally picked up the window. I called and spoke with Henry, the representative I was working with he said they would order a new window and have it installed. They said it will come in on Friday, and they will call me on Monday to arrange installation, but the window hasn't come in. I've called them every week since then, and they say the exact same thing. It's been two months at this point and I am very disappointed. I still don't have the screens back.

Needed a large glass dining table top to replace one that had cracked in an accident.  The original was 3/4 thick with beveled edges and clipped corners and quite large as 72 x 44.
Henry offered several options to lower costs.  Job was completed in a timely manner.  His crew delivered and placed the top on the existing base.  They also removed and disposed of the old, damaged top.
I was very pleased and have since used them for other items.

Called him around 9:00 AM. Had it ready for me by early afternoon. Size was perfect. Price was fair. Service was outstanding.

Everything went very well. We made our initial contact in person. Because the stated price was considerably lower than a contractor had given to us several months ago, we did not do any further comparison shopping.Henry came promptly at the appointed time to see the job. He measured and then explained to us that the building code required tempered glass because the window extended so far down to the floor. We appreciated the professional adherence to safety standards. He wrote up an itemized bill, took a deposit, and indicated that the glass would arrive at his business in about two weeks.
Henry contacted us almost exactly two weeks later to set up a time to do the work. He arrived with a helper. They got the job done in a surprisingly short amount of time with no fuss and left the area clean and neat. Henry advised us on the best way to keep the opening mechanism lubricated for smooth functioning. The window looks great and we paid the rest of our agreed price.
Throughout the process Henry was polite, knowledgeable, direct, and down-to-earth. We have a new window at a reasonable price without hassle. Couldn't ask for more.
