Art was wonderful, the process went smoothly and we are very pleased with the results.

PAK did an excellent job for us on both projects.  The first project was about 4 years ago with just a small remodeling - opened one nterior wall and installed hardwood floor in the kitchen.  The job was well done and we were very impressed by PAK's level of commitment and professionalism in getting the project completed especially even after the delay caused by unforeseen circumstances ((hurricane Irene) at the time.  We were very satisfied with the work done that we decided to go with PAK on the larger second project. 
This second project was an expansion on a two story colonial house.  We knew from the start that we wanted to work with someone we could trust. For the project this size, we understood there would be issues, delays, cost overruns, etc. and PAK was there every step of the way to help us get through any of those circumstances.  We could feel that PAK took pride in its work and strived for the satisfaction of its client.

PAK showed us that it made every effort to ensure our house was ok under heavy rain when we had no roof. He even showed up and checked on the house during the weekend.  PAK made sure to apprise us on every situation during the project so that we could make the right decision going forward.  It was never a problem to contact PAK - text / email / phone calls - we always heard back within an hour.  PAK's decades of experience in the construction business had also been valuable to us.  He knew exactly what needed to be done to minimize any project delays.  His team of framers, electricians, plumbers, roofers, siders were professional and did great jobs.
Above all, we valued PAK's integrity that had been shown throughout both jobs.  Many times, we had to have second or third or more discussions with PAK about the same thing because we weren't sure. We went back and forth sometimes and PAK never complained.  He would listen and advise us on pro's and con's.  We felt that he was always looking out for us throughout this endeavor.  
We would , without a doubt , hire PAK again for our next home remodeling project. 

Not only I am very happy with Art's work, now he is my go-to man for all the works necessary for my house. He is very polite, professional, and his price is always very decent. After the kitchen renovation, I had already asked Art to work on several other smaller projects. He is always very responsive and gets the job done on time. Excellent.  Came when they said they would.  Started and finished as promised.  Nice neat job.  Very nice respectful talented people.   I'm very happy.

I called PAK Builders for an estimate to replace all 17 windows in the home that I recently purchased. The windows were in extremely poor condition and some work needed to be done around the openings once the old windows were removed. It was an extensive job and was handled in a professional and courteous manner. From the first meeting with Arthur until the job was completely finished, I could always reach him on his cell phone to find out any detail of the job. Every concern or question was handled quickly and efficiently by either Arthur or his staff. All in all a seamless transaction. I plan on using PAK Builders for all of my home improvements in the future.

The whole process started when we were looking for a contractor to build a family room for us. Some contractors told us to have architectural drawing done first and then call them, we didnt know of any .Then we met with PAK Builders and they told us that they would take care of everything from design to completion and we liked that. There would be only one person in charge of everything,one person to talk to and no finger pointing.Arthur started with a design drawing with a 1/4 scale first,with a  floor plan and an outside redering so that we could see what its going to look like before an architect starts to draw it. All done so that we could change any part of it.The whole process took only 3 1/2 weeks! Permits were needed PAK Builders filled out all of the paperwork submitted it and picked them up we just paid for it. work started within a weeks time 1st  Foundation,then framing and then roofing.
PAK Builders has a great way of working with you they have a payment plan that you follow you only pay for the things that are being done at that time, like Foundation,Framing, Roofing, ect...each payment brings you closer to the end of your job.The whole job to approx: 3 months and we are so happy with the results. There is plenty of room now to  have family and friends over.We would recommend PAK Builders for your next  renovation.

I saw an advertisement for several companies, PAK Builders, being one of them.  I noticed he was from the same town I lived in and decided to call for an estimate.  The owner, Art Kranich, arrived at my home promptly at the scheduled time.  He was very personable, professional and listened to what I wanted.  In speaking with him it was very obvious he was well versed in his field.  He returned approximately one week later to present his estimate and drawings.  Needless to say, I was extremely pleased by his rendering of what my kitchen would look like.  His price came in within my budget and I signed a contract with him.   The work I had performed consisted of removing all old cabinets, flooring, counter tops and soffits.  Opening up one of the walls that adjoined my dining room to give the kitchen a more open and larger feel.  This also required installing a main support beam as per the code in my town.  PAK Builders applied for and obtained all permits needed.  New cabinets, counter tops, electrical outlets, flooring, etc. were installed.  All the necessary inspections by the building department were done.  Being without a kitchen when you have a family is difficult at best, but PAK Builders completed the job on time as promised.
I can not say enough about PAK Builders.  The workmanship, professionalism,. the attention to detail, were excellent.  I was thrilled with the results.  As a homeowner, you hear horror stories of bad contractors. I had no complaints with any part of the process with PAK Builders.  Mr. Art Kranich stayed on top of every aspect of the job and was a pleasure doing business with.  I highly recommend this contractor.

THEY ARE JUST EXCELLENT AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY ARE FINE CRAFTSMEN WHO REALLY DO CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMER'S NEEDS, AND THEY WILL WORK WITH YOU SO YOU ARE NOT TOTALLY INCONVENIENCED. THEY ARRANGED IT SO THAT I COULD STILL USE MY OVEN AND STOVE.
