Overall, the project went smoothly. We met with the designer in our home first, then had a follow up visit in the showroom to select countertops, sink, and faucet. We were referred to H&H Appliances for the cooktop and hood purchase, and were able to get ones that fit our specific space requirements, which was great. Installation was fairly smooth, it took under a week. We had partial use of the kitchen during that time, so the disruption was minimal. The tile backsplash install could have been a bit better, they failed to caulk the join between the counter and the tile, leaving only grout, which cracked. However, they corrected the issue once we contacted them. They were able to work around a number of issues to get the venting done (though that took a bit of pushing on our end), but we're so glad we did that. Overall, they were a great contractor and stand by their work.

They were very professional during the estimating process.  The electrician, Tom Meir, was recommended by the parents of a friend of mine, which is why I selected them for the project.  When the job was quoted, they told me it would be a simple installation and would be finished within 2 weeks once they started.  I work full time and explained that timing was very important as I needed to schedule someone to be at the house if I was at work and that I was starting another basement project and needed them to complete on time so that work could progress.  Once they started the project, it was a completely different experience from the estimating process.  The project manager was never able to provide concrete timelines and was not responsive to my requests for detailed dates.  The electrician did a great job and was very professional.  
The plumber was a disaster.  First he left the furnace running while he had the gas shut off and it burned out the ignitor.  They left the house knowing that there was no heat (and it was a cold Feb day).  When they called me to tell me there was a problem, they weren't sure what was wrong or if/when they could fix it.  I had to call someone else to come fix it so we could have heat in time.  After that was fixed, the next day the plumber was digging for the pipe and cut the Verizon fios cable.  Due to storms in our area, Verizon was unable to come fix the cable for 5 days, so we had no TV, internet or phone.  Again, I complained to the owner of the company, but got nothing except excuses for why it happened and that they were sorry.
Finally, after those problems, they were delayed another week for final project completion, pushing back the other contractor more than 2 weeks.  Additionally, they sent me an email telling me that inspectors would be coming the next day - not nearly enough time for me to make arrangements for someone to be home.  When I tried to tell them that I was not able to sit at the house for the inspector, they didn't return my call or email.  Inspectors came and no one was home, so had to be rescheduled.
After this experience, I have asked them for a partial refund to cover the costs and headache that this process caused.  They are again being unresponsive and said they will only pay for parts for the furnace and the verizon cost, but not the labor associated with the work.
I would NEVER use them again and would caution anyone else to use them.  Unless you are someone who is able to be home full time and is knowledgeable about permits & plumbing to supervise their work.

Very well. Everyone on their staff was extremely knowledgeable and followed up constantly. We felt very comfortable having them work in our home. We'll definitely work with them again in the future! Thanks New Outlooks!!

THEY ARE VERY GOOD AT THE JOB THAT THEY DO AND ARE VERY TIDY. THEY SHOWED UP READY FOR WORK AND GO ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT IS ASKED OF THEM. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE WHO ASKS FOR THEIR SERVICE.
