DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY for an out of state move! Full of empty promises, and they do not take care of your belongings!! Moving from NJ to NC June 2016 They picked up our household contents on 6/6. We were told by the lead mover (the only one that spoke English) that our stuff would remain on the truck until delivered to us. Delivery time frame was between 6/14 & 6/20, for our FULL DELIVERY (according to our contract). Initial delivery was 6/20. We were shocked to learn that not all of our stuff was on the truck as promised.. They were missing 66 items from their own company check list. 33 of those items, were cartons. Damaged antique furniture, parts of furniture missing, items mishandled and broken.. They still went ahead and charged our Bank Card the full payment of almost $8,000, even though we did not receive our full shipment. We also learned from the mover that our stuff that was loaded onto this semi truck back in NJ, was indeed emptied into their warehouse until delivery time. MORE LIES. They move the furniture around so much, they can't help but damage it! After much arguing back and forth, they finally agree to deliver our furniture on 7/19. Guess who didn't show up?! I complain again. Next scheduled date for delivery of our stuff, 7/22, exactly one month and two days from the initial shipment. Drivers show up late, and deliver 23 of the 66 missing items. When asked where the 43 cartons full of the rest of our stuff was, we were told that they had NO CLUE! And, once again, what was delivered was very badly damaged. They will not respond to the Better Business Bureau, Bank of America or our attorney.. Yes, Bohren's. We'll see you in court!

Perfect. From the very beginning we found Bohren's Moving to be professional. We were given a thorough estimate, and a point person to contact with any questions. Lisa responded to all of my inquiries in a very timely manner. The movers showed up on time, walked through the house, and got to work. Everything was handled safely, and fragile items were wrapped tight. We had an issue with our closing date, so our belongings needed to be stored two extra nights. Bohren's worked with us, and the delivery was also on time and efficient. moving is a very stressful experience, we were happy that Bohren's was such a positive experience.

After 25 years in one home, I needed to move 75 miles away.  The move was complicated by taking two pianos (one upright, one baby grand) from the Princeton location and moving one piano to one location and one piano to a separate location.  In total, I had about 12,000 pounds of furniture, books, antiques, pianos and supplies.  Bohren's was the FOURTH estimate I got for the move, and they were move than 1,000 dollars cheaper than any of the other estimates.  Bohren's told me that they could do the move with one truck, the other three estimates required two trucks.  Bohren's recommended the move over a two day period, everyone else said one day. Bohren's thinking was that because of daylight savings, commuter traffic and weather, moving over two days was safer.  In hindsight, I can not imagine doing the move in one day.  Luis, Herman and Tim were present on both days.  They started by 8 am and finished by 6 on the first day, and 4 on the second. They stopped for one 30 minute lunch break.  They were highly communicative, polite, fully present, efficient, courteous, respectful, responsible, patient and kind.  Because everything worked so well, so effortlessly, a difficult move was made more than tolerable. I can not imagine this job being done to perfection in one day.  Bohren's contacted me the week before, the week of, the day of and the afternoon of the move.  They contacted me to tell me they were caught in traffic the day of the unload, and were 25 minutes later than expected. There were no surprises, only very well executed directions and plans.  If I could have given them a higher score, I would have.

They're very personable, they checked with us with any questions they have, they contacted us to ask questions and get clarification and they've been really careful with moving the furniture and making sure everything is tagged.

The removing and storage of our belongings went swimmingly. I would recommend that you carefully supervise the movers as they are tagging your belongings for moving and inventory. They almost took a few items that were going with me in the car. This was probably my own fault. The experience went smoother than anticipated.

Some of our belongings were damaged on only a two-mile trip. The packing was not done in an acceptable way. When they were unpacking, they were very pushy and rushed me around. It was very hellish. I couldn't comfortably decide where things should go. I would not use them again.

They were very courteous. They were very careful.
