The  trees were dying due to PSE&G trimming them without any proper training on tree care.  Over a ten year period they were simply unsafe, and large branches were falling in the street and yard.  Paul's quote was reasonable, compared to the other two I got.  I'd hire Paul's Tree Service again without hesitation.

We received a return call within 42 hours, and estimate in 4 days and the work was complete
several days later. They showed up on time, were very personable, and cleaned up. When they completed
a tree, I was asked if I liked it, and was accommodated. I was very pleased.

Paul made contact to me promptly and made a free estimate for tree services for me. He then scheduled a date in about two weeks ahead, after I made the 2nd contact to him, asking him to do the job. Buddy (very friendly) and the 2-men crew came here on time and cut down those 4 trees in one day, and cleaned up after the job was done. Very satisfactory.

Came out and left us an estimate right away. Promptly added us to the schedule when requested. We had 3 other estimates and some were as high as triple the amount of the others. I will use Paul's Tree Service again and I will not hesitate to recommend them to family or friends.

I called Paul's Tree Service one morning and someone came right out to give me an estimate. Less than a week later they came back to remove and grind the trees. They were professional and courteous. Job well done!

We had two huge gum trees and a huge river birch growing directly between our house and the neighbor's house, and several large branches bent toward each of our houses. With all the strong storms lately, we were concerned that a branch would come down or one of the trees would topple. We had received several estimates from various tree services in the area to give us advice on how to address our problem. I liked Paul's especially because they were concerned not only with our safety, but also with doing their best to protect the integrity and health of the trees.  They were also familiar with our neighborhood and community standards. Paul's estimate hadn't been the lowest, but Paul's agreed to come close enough to the lowest estimate that we chose Paul's, especially given the professional expertise their representative Dennis demonstrated during the estimate.
They arrived shortly after noon and were finished by four. Since the trees were near my neighbor's driveway, they had requested to use my neighbor's driveway for the truck, and I admit I was apprehensive about letting an unfamiliar business use my neighbor's driveway, since the wrong business could have left a mess, damaged the driveway, and led to neighborhood enmity for us. But Paul's not only cleaned up my neighbor's driveway, but they gently put back any items they had moved to maneuver the truck into place. The workers were courteous and professional and worked quickly and efficiently. When they were done, the trees looked great, and all debris was removed. I will definitely recommend Paul's to neighbors, and I will definitely use them again when we save up the money to do the other side of our heavily treed yard.

Paul's was awesome! We called and were able to setup an appointment within 24 hrs. We met with Dennis and provided us with a quote. We did call out another small company and he did come out to give us an estimate but never left one as promised. So I decided to use Pauls. Work was scheduled with a few days. They crew arrived on time with the owner Paul. He went over the job with us and then he explained everything to his crew in detail. They worked hard all day!! It was hot and these guys didn't stop. They were there the entire day. They used the bucket truck so it was easier and they didn't have to climb. After talking with the crew we found out one of the worker's is our neighbor! Really great group of guys. They cleaned up the yard and you would have never known they were there. Paul returned when the job was done to make sure we were happy with everything. Paul is a personable guy and a hard working small business owner. I would definitely recommend Paul's for any tree service needs!

We were told to,use this service since they are local but their prices were more Han the other companies we called plus the company we used did such a great job that they decided not to call Paul's Tree and used the company we did.

Fair price, punctual, professional.  

He was able to take down that big tree and dropped it and stopped that from happening. It was a big tree probably fifty feet tall and four feet in diameter. It was a good job and it was very reasonable to me, price done. They didn't haul it away, they just dropped it because it was a wood behind the house. He didn't charge a whole lot for it and I was surprised. He's punctual.

Came out a week before to give me an estimate and set a date.  Arranged to have the gas and cable lines marked up during that week.  The date of service, they arrived early in the morning.  The owner Paul arrived with his workers.  Walked the property with me and reviewed exactly what trees, bushes and other growth was being removed.  There was A LOT to be cleared to make way for the fence installation.  They worked hard all day and made sure that I was happy with their services before they left for the day.  Would highly recommend them to anyone who needed some trees or bushes removed.

I got three estimates for the job. Paul gave me the best price and also provided excellent service.

I asked if he could do it the following day, he said "no" but that he could probably be able to do it on Monday, Labor Day. He said he would give us a call Monday afternoon; he never called, never came. We didn't hear any more from them so I called them on Wednesday. The office assistant said they were out on a job. She said she did have an opening on Monday, the 10th and she would put me in that slot. She said she would check with Paul and then call me back to let me know if he could come sooner. She never called back. I called the office that Monday to reconfirm that they were still coming. She gave me the number for the foreman who I called and spoke with. He came on time. After he examined the tree he said he hoped it wasn't poison ivy because their climber was allergic. I asked if he had another climber on the staff who could do it and he said both were allergic. He said they could not perform the work until it was removed. It just struck me as odd that they are in tree service and don't have a way of working around poison ivy. The foreman did give me another alternative, that was to wait until winter when the poison ivy had died then they could come back and do the job. However, we want to get it done as soon as possible because we are concerned the tree may damage our neighbor's property.

They did a great job. They were very efficient and reasonably priced.

I needed my trees taken down and had a quote within 24 hours of my call.  The work was scheduled for the following week and completed in less than a day.  Clean up was great, no mess left behind, and they did a great job raking the mulch in the areas that the trees were cut down.  I had ver little to do in the work areas after they were gone.

Spoke with the owner (at a good recommendation from a friend who had the owner do the work.). Gave a good estimate price. Unfortunately, i got his B team, they were terrible! They literally cut and dropped the heavy branches. There wasn't an area of my back yard that wasn't effected. Huge guages in the ground, sod that was flipped over so I couldn't salvage them. At least 15 large eruptions in the ground not to count the many smaller ones that made my backyard look like a moonscape than a backyard! I am still doing repairs months later. My wife gave the guy (Frank, the leader of the "B" team) a list of approved actions and Frank made the comment that he never payed attention to lists (in a joking way but it unnerved my wife) They were suppose to save all dead wood and only the smaller peices of live wood They did neither. The left a small pile of small dead wood the rest he took. It was a big tree and i am sure the cut it and sold it! Mainly because he didn't read the order that his boss agreed on. In the long run, Paul the owner made ammends with a small supply of his own wood. The bottom line is if you use this company, INSIST on Paul and not his "B" team!

Generally it was really good. The people that we spoke to were very nice and very helpful. Even though they couldnt do the job quickly they left it that if something cancelled in the interim they'd be sure to move our appointment. They cleaned up the yard well and I understand from my neighbor they were the proud recipients of the cut trunks and large limbs! Sounds like it saved the guys some time! My only issue was that one tree wasn't cut flush to the ground - I could just read on the bill copy that in fact the instructions had been written but they still left it about 2 feet off the ground. So I'll have to ask my neighbor to help me finish the job.

this is my second time useing pauls,spoke to sally on the phone,shes great, sent paul for estimate came right out estimate,was fair for the work, next day crew came over did the work cleaned up and even too care of brush pile i had piled up,great guys and a great job.
