He did not install the front cover correctly, so the top panel is hanging off. Said he would be back in a few days to fix it. 4 months later I am still waiting for him to fix it

It went well. Kevin was responsive and thoughtful about how to fix the issue. Worked with the LG service team to best diagnose the problem. As it turned out, his initial assessment regarding the root cause was correct.

We have used Kevin once before and when our dryer starting making noises, he was the first one we called. Even though it is an unusual model, Kevin was able to get some parts and get to us by the end of the day. He fixed what was needed and then showed me a part that was wearing down and offered to fix it instead of us waiting for it to go and pay for another visit. Kevin is prompt, professional, and a great guy./ We would use him for any appliance repair that we have in the future.

Kevin was very professional and Knowledgeable.. He diagnosed the problem instantly. He had the part in his truck. The fix was fast. The dryer is working again. I was very impressed with his service. He provided warranty on his work too. We kept his number and will definitely use him again for any future work if needed. Very nice guy too. We will recommend him to friends and family.

Kevin was responsive, friendly, came when he said he would, and fixed our problem. He also suggested some fixes for the long run which we appreciated.

I called Kevin this morning and he was here by 2pm. By 2:30 the machine was fixed and the cost was certainly within the expected range for same day service and labor. Kevin was extremely nice and even looked at a used refrigerator that I had just purchased and was unsure about. I'll certainly use him again.

I found out later that the manufacturer is actually LG for this particular Kenmore Elite model, after I called another local repair service that told me that they did not repair LG fridges. I spoke with Kevin and he was able to come out in 2 days. He quoted me a price after taking a look and during the repair he actually LOWERED the final cost! He said he had thought the motor for the flap had gone (a common issue) but it turned out the motor was fine but the lever the motor presses had gotten misaligned. He aligned everything (which needed the entire electronic section of the front of the fridge to be removed and then 2 sets of panels unscrewed) and got everything back in working order. Would definitely call him again if other repairs are needed!

He was able to solve the problem, and give me a way to resolve the issue in a very easy way to understand and implement. He was professional, honest, fair, and worked hard to diagnose. He was able to call me before he came, which was very helpful and convenient. I called him at 5pm and he was able to come out very soon after. He was trustworthy and honest.

I called Kevin and he answered the phone, and we set up a time within 24 hours for him to come to my house.  He arrived during the window we agreed on, calling first to let me know he was on his way.  He diagnosed the problem immediately, gave me a reasonable price, and fixed it.  He also gave us a lesson on refrigerators and appliances in general.  I found him to be professional, knowledgeable, prompt, and reasonably priced.  I would recommend Kevin and would call him again if I need any other appliances repaired.

The thermostat was fixed.  Another problem cropped up during the repair.  It took longer than it should have for this to get corrected, and communication to handle it could have been better.  We had also asked for a supplier invoice for the installed thermostat part to verify the cost, and we never received it.

We are very pleased with the service and professionalism of Kevin from Westwood Appliances.
My Electrolux Refrigerator just stopped working and we called Westwood Appliance to come and give us an estimate. Kevin said he would come by later that day to take a look at it. He arrived on time and explained in detail the problem that needed to be fixed. We had a cracked ice maker part and the circuit board had blown...Confused as to how this could happen being the refrigerator was only 3 years old, I questioned Kevin and he taught us a lesson on how a refrigerator operates. This impressed us immensely. He didn't have to explain it to us but he took the time to do so.
An estimate was given on Wednesday...the parts were ordered Thursday morning and Kevin was back on Friday to fix it..
I found Kevin to be extremely professional and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again in the future.

Kevin, the owner of Westwood appliance, came to my house to inspect my dryer. It was determined it wasn't working because it needed a new motor, which was an expensive part to replace. At his insistence and persuasion, I decided to replace the motor instead of getting a new dryer. He quoted me a price (which I asked him about twice) said he had to come back the next day with the part, but I paid him almost half the cost the first day. When he came the next day, suddenly the cost had gone up because he did not include tax (although he said he mentioned it). I looked at the invoice given to me the day before, and nowhere on it did he list this increased cost or tax. I had assumed the price he quoted and wrote included tax. He then began to respond to my questions in an extremely rude and condescending manner, which was shocking to me since I was a paying customer. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by a serviceman coming to my home. He refused to acknowledge that he should have listed this taxed price on the invoice, so I ended up paying him more than originally agreed upon in order to prevent a situation from escalating.
Additionally, he was very loud while talking on the phone, ignoring the fact that I had two sleeping babies upstairs (which my nanny had to remind him of twice). Unfortunately I will never use Westwood appliance again due to the dishonesty and disrespect of which I was treated by someone I was paying a lot of money to.

Kevin was great about communicating the entire time.  He explained the project in detail, including how the machine works (I'm a teacher and like to learn how things work-so he gave a detailed explanation).  He communicated with me every day as we were ordering parts, letting me know when parts would be ready and when he would be able to return.  He cleaned up after himself and left things in a tidy state.  Very professional and friendly.

We called Kevin of Westwood Appliance Service on a Monday morning, he said that he would try to make it out to the house later on in the day but would call first. He never called nor made it out to the house. Tuesday I called him. He said he would come on Wednesday. Wednesday night he called at 7:15 pm and said it was too late and that he would come on Thursday. Thursday night he arrived at 8:30pm.  He looked at the error code on the washer and said more than likely it is something stuck underneath. The tub would spin so minutely, and not at all in spin cycle. It was stuck.  So, Kevin said he would look underneath to see if something was wrapped around the motor for $160.00 plus tax. I told him to do it, I was desperate. He asked us to stay out of the room which I thought was odd. We did not stay out of the room but stayed away from the laundry room where he was working on the other side of the room. He went to his truck to get some tools. I know he took out the tub and sprayed some things with WD40.  He said he found a piece of line from the lawn trimmer underneath. But I know I saw that piece of line outside on the lawn and it was not curled as if it was wrapped around something. What he failed to do while he removed  the tub and had the motor exposed was check the hub assembly because that is what it was, it was worn and a trained eye would have seen that. When he put the machine back together again and put it through the diagnostic check he had the same error message as before. So he said it must be the electronic board, he guessed. He said he would price it and call us the next day with the price. By this time it was 9:30 pm.  He asked us to pay him for the work he did or else he would stay the night. I said if we pay you cash then what would the price be. He said $150.00. He was such in a rush to leave, he never offered a receipt and I forgot too until after he was up the block. He never fixed the problem and never called with the price of the board.  My son who went in his pocket for cash was out $150.00 of his hard earned money.
I called Kevin of Westwood Appliance Service the next night to see if he ever got a price for the board. He said ?let me get back to you in 10 minutes.?  I never heard from Kevin again.  We ordered a board from an on line appliance parts company with a good return policy.  My son put it in but it still gave the same exact error message. Low and behold it was not the electronic board after all. Not only did Kevin of Westwood Appliance Service rip us off for $150.00, he did not have the decency to return my phone call with a price of a new board so he could finish the job.
After a week of waiting for Kevin of Westwood Appliance to call back, I called another appliance service. They were professional, courteous and on time. The technician told me right away that Whirlpool washers are known for the Hub wearing out and that is why it would not spin. He took it apart and showed me the worn piece and explained the job of
putting in a new Hub assembly. He said his boss would get back to me with a price first. They did charge me a fee for walking in the door and taking the machine apart but it half of what Kevin of Westwood charged. The very next morning I received a call from the appliance service company with a price to install a Hub assembly kit. It was steep so I figured I better cut my losses and invest in a new washer. Which I did and I returned the electronic board too.

Westwood Appliance Service came in to inspect the refrigerator issue. The issue was the icemake would stop making ice and all ice made would melt down from the icebox. Upon troubleshooting, they advised us that it is the faulty control panel.
They replaced it with with new control panel.  The control panel is expensive but we had no other option. No problems with it now. No more ice melt issues. Thanks to Westwood Appliance Service.
