The walkway appears to be holding up well with no apparent issue.
However, the foundation wall  finish has stain spots in one section and had started to crack in another portion. This, of course, should not be happening. I called Joe Picca in Feb. 2014 to tell him that I was disappointed with the wall problems and asked him to fix it. He told me that he will take care of it.
When, by April he hadn't shown up I called again. This time he told me that he was busy with other jobs and that he will definitely get to it in June. In July, I called again, left a message. He left me a return message saying that he will be there in a couple of days to fix the problem. To date, no one came and these issues remain unresolved.
I remain disappointed that he has done nothing yet to fix the problem and I can neither endorse nor recommend him at this time.

Revised Update: A small portion of the wall has begun to degenerate!

He did a great job. He was neat and professional. Everyone comments on how beautiful my steps are. I would definitely recommend him to others.

Water was coming into our house through the chimney. Called Picca in the late afternoon and left a message. He returned the call that night and came over the next day. He recommended replacing the chimney crown, which had eroded over the years. He was honest in pointing out that might not totally solve the problem and referred us to a chimney specialist whom he personally called to give him a heads up. We had him do the crown work since we felt it needed to be done anyway, and he came early the next morning to complete the work.

They were very professional, came when they said they were going to, were very nice to deal with, and really knew what they were doing. They did excellent work and were very helpful. They found a problem I didn't know existed.
