Spinella Tile

Jim showed up on time and performed the work neatly and quickly. He explained exactly what work would be performed. He is a pleasure to work with.

I have used Jim Spinella in the past for some difficult tile repair and was extremely satisfied all the way around.  Jim is knowledgeable, professional, immaculate, and a delight to work with.  I would recommend him without reservation.  I will be using him again to do a complete re grout in another bathroom. 

He's pretty much a one man guy. He got back to me quickly with an estimate. I had another person, who was a bit higher. He said when he could come. He was here on time and was here for about 5 hours. He cleaned up after himself. I had look at another job before he left. He gave me quote and I plan to use him for that.

Very happy with both gentlemen and the work performed.

Jim was a pleasure to work with from "go." He told us what he could and could not accomplish, the likelihoods of success for all we wanted done, etc. He met and exceeded our expectations. A real pleasure to work with -- low-key, honest, reliable, prompt, etc.

Jim was a true professional, and not *just* in comparison with the incompetent contractor who had done the work before him.

The regrouted tilework in shower #2 looks great, many months after he did his thing. Ditto, the bathtub. Through no fault of Jim's, the color of the grout in shower #1 didn't match the earlier grout, but he returned and took his best shot at making the colors match. (The original contractor used some blended grout color that was impossible to match exactly.)

He used several coats of a primer designed to remove knots/stains, and although it's early, we have reason to believe he accomplished what the other guy could not or would not (certainly did not).

It's also early on the cracks-in-the-wainscoting fiasco, but for now -- knock on wood -- it looks good.

In essence, he cleaned up a three-ring mess that an earlier contractor had caused. He was courteous, professional, on-time and on-budget every time we called him. No drama, no BS, exceedingly pleasant and low-key -- a real joy to work with.

Arrived on time for free estimate. Took time to discuss problems in detail. Set a date for repair and completed job in one day.
