"Look at me, hahaha, I got all "A's" and I didn't even have to leave my house. Look forward to being there the next time something is acting up and you can't figure out how to fix it yourself."
Unfortunately, it seems DPW/Water Commission decided to shut my street down that morning, with no warning to any of us on the street (I live on a dead end). I quickly went up to the police officer at the top of my block and asked if my plumber can be let through. Though, how ironic that was not lost on me.
I was able to call Dave quickly and let him know what was going on, how to get to my street since the blocked off one side and to let him know he was be allowed to come down. As it turns out, he was on his way and woould be here around 8:10am.
He got there and not allowed to bring the van down (as the street was shut down since they were about to dig). Dave had to lug allhis equipment down the street with him to my home at the end. He checked the tub, then my pipes in the basement, so how it all went.
He was able to use his power equipment to clear the drain, check the sinks, had them run awhile just to make sure they all drained and nothing else happened.
I was happy to find out it was a bad hair clog and not anything more like roots growing or something of the like.
Dave was professional, friendly, punctual, reasonably priced and unfazed by all the DPW/Water Commission craziness (I was doubly embarassed between my drain and stagnant water and the street shutdown!). I will definitely call him again for any plumbing or heating needs.
"Thank you for all the effort you put into letting Angie's List know how your job turned out. People are always telling me about contractors that are hard to get in contact with, don't show up when scheduled, do poor quality work, make a mess of the surrounding area, the list goes on and on. But thanks to customers like yourself detailing your experiences for other members, I stay a little busier, and members get to avoid some of the nightmares I hear about on almost a daily basis. It's also helped me earn Angie's List's Super Service Award 2009, 2010, 2011, and if I can keep the good customer service streak alive through 2012 I'll add another one. The least I can do is try to meet members expectations after reading all of these great reports. Thanks, again."
"Thanks for taking the time to make this report. I really appreciate it."
"Thank you for the great report."

"Thank you very much for the positive feedback. I really appreciate it. Just make sure to call me as soon as you schedule the inspection so I can plan on getting there the same day to connect your grill for you."
"Thanks for the straight A's and I'm happy to see that you're satisifed with the work I did. I look forward to being there the next time you need my services."
"Thanks for taking the time to write this great report. I really appreciate it."
We decided to go ahead with this job. Dave scheduled the town crew to perform the mains procedure, and everyone turned up on time (8 am). After the pipes were installed, he arranged for the water turn-on, and did a complete series of water pressure tests. He was exactly right - you could barely see any light at the end of the corroded pipes, and our water pressure is now "normal" for the first time since we've lived in the house.
Finally, he replaced the plumbing under our kitchen sink, which was also weak, leaky, and corroded, and again did a great job.
Besides the quality of his work, he is very personable, and made friends with our dogs (our dogs also liked him!).
"I'm really glad that we fixed that water pressure problem. That was one of the worst low residual pressure problems I've ever seen and it must be nice for you and your wife to finally be able to use more than one fixture at a time. Thanks for the excellent report."
"Thank you, member, for the great report. It really inspires me to maintain a high level of service, and I really appreciate it."
We are very, very grateful that he was willing to spend the time to deal with the problem today, even though it was not the main problem that we called him for.
"Thanks for the great report, member. I really appreciate you taking to time to post such flattering comments about me and my business. At the end of a long and busy physically demanding week, it's really nice to sit down and read something like this. Thank you."
I am very lucky to have found Dave as my plummer and would highly recommend him.

"Thank you for taking the time to post this great report. I was talking to your son last week and he told me the good news about another grandchild on the way. Congratulations!"
"Thanks for the positive feedback, member. I can't say it was a pleasure to solve that problem, but it had to be done to get your house working properly again, and I'm really happy that it's been working great ever since."
Update: Hurricane Irene's 8.5 inches of rain were no match for the new sump pump. Family Room stayed dry as a bone!
"Thanks for the straight A's and the great report. I spoke to your wife when I did my follow up call and I was glad to hear that the new pump kept your floor from floating again. If you ever need my services in the future, please feel free to call."
"Thanks for taking the time to post this report. It's always nice to read that my customers are satisfied with my services, and I look forward to being there whenever you may need me in the future."
"I've always taken attention to detail and customer service very seriously. It is why I choose not to expand by business, but instead handle every job from incoming phone call, through completion of the work, and the eventual follow-up call personally. Thanks for taking the time to post such a nice report about my business and I look forward to being able to be there the next time you may need my services."
"Thanks for taking the time to give me the positive feedback. I really appreciate it and look forward to being there the next time you need my services."
"Thank you for giving me such a positive report. I really do appreciate the positive feedback you gave almost as much as the picture your daughter drew for me, which by the way has been on display in my van since I left your home."
"Thanks for taking the time to give me such a positive report. I really do appreciate all the nice things you had to say about the way I conduct my business."
"I never get tired of reading the great comments people make about my business here. Thanks for taking the time to write the report and I look forward to being able to help resolve any problems that you may encounter in the future."
