A tree fell on the electrical and fiber optic lines where they connect to our house, tearing down the receptacles for the cables and damaging the gable on that side of the house. We needed emergency repairs in order to restore power to our house and Ridgewood Home Maintenance was able to fit us in assist us very quickly. We would definitely hire them again.

My wife and I purchased a distressed property a few years ago and one room in particular, the sun room, was an eyesore and in dire need of attention. We had just installed new windows and were not making any progress on the other items on our list. We found Jim's name on a list of local contractors recommended by our realtor, and his estimate was reasonable. Jim's team removed a ceramic tile floor and installed new baseboards and a floating engineered hardwood. A tile ceiling was removed, and the drywall ceiling underneath was repaired, and a new ceiling fan and light fixture installed. The entire room was painted and we are more than pleased with the transformation. The work began promptly after we agreed on a starting date and progressed at a reasonable rate. Especially glad we opted for the paint job. Thank you Jim. Nice work! Looking forward to our next project.

Jim and his crew were totally professional from the initial estimate visit, to the 4 day completion of work. Jim started when he said he would. Began work early each day and quickly completed the necessary repairs within 4 days consecutively. No waiting for him to come back to finish, or disruption to our home. Great work, truly nice people and honest & fair pricing! I'd highly recommend this company and would definitely contract work with Ridgewood Home Maintenance again.

Jim and his team did an amazing job on our basement renovation. From the initial estimate and plans to the final finishing touches, Jim was a complete professional. He guided us through the process and made sure all of our needs were met, and even provided better suggestions when needed. This was a complicated project (including installation of a full bathroom) and Jim coordinated all of the pieces—sub-contractors, permits, inspections. Our basement went from an unfinished mess to a beautiful living space that our whole family can enjoy. Jim was always available and kept us updated throughout the job and paid attention to the small details. We will definitely call Jim again for any job big or small.

Both Jim and Oscar were a pleasure to work with. Once I called Jim, he came over within a day or two to give us an estimate and make his recommendations. We booked the job with him and he obtained the materials. The work was completed in one day in a very professional manner with no surprises. I definitely recommend Ridgewood Home Maintenance for your renovation and/or repairs in/on the house. Price is fair, quality is very good and they are easy to work with.

This was the second time I have used Jim because he had done a great job installing crown moulding and renovating my bathroom about a couple years ago. He visited the house and took notes of the work that I wanted. He was quick to give an estimate. I have an old house that was difficult to determine the layout and the electrical wiring. Also the attic is very low and Jim is tall guy so I don't know how he was able move around to do the work, but he did. There were some unexpected issues and after discussing them, Jim was able to fix the issue. The work was completed in about 4 days. Jim always cleaned up after each day. I will use Jim for future projects and I highly recommend him.

After a basement sewage backup and subsequent partial demo, Jim and his team renovated the space to an impeccable standard. He was professional, confident and extremely competent, punctual and efficient. Having received several estimates from companies who seemed very unsure of how to fix our partially demolished basement, it was a pleasure to work with someone who knows and takes pride in his craft. He discussed all options with us and provided us with a very comprehensive estimate. During the renovation, they were on time, professional, courteous and clean.
