Since September he has been billing us for 5 visits per months for a billing cycle of over $210. In his invoice he listed coming to the house for 2 visits in 2 consecutive days, charging us basically $55 + $45 for what should be completed in a single visit. When asked why he had to come so many times that month he simply said 1 day cutting grass and another day weeding, and refuse to offer any further explanation.
We had to terminate his service based on his refusal to offer a proper explanation for his invoice. In the end, it's not that much more money, but I get the sense that he's someone constantly trying to rip you off in a small way, and we seriously don't need that in our lives. He sent us the last bill , he pulled another Tom and is charging us $55+$45 for 2 consecutive days service. We just paid him to get him out of our sight / mind.
All I am asking for is a reasonable amount for the backyard leaf removal. I am willing to pay for one hour of leaf removal even though I canceled before he did the work. I have continued to call him, and he still says he did the tree removal.
"We did clean up work and even moved wires off her driveway, we put them onto the side of the street for pick up. We cleaned up her backyard. She left a message at our office to cancel services. Got message at 7 p.m., work was done during the day. I billed her for just what we did.""
