I used these guys in 2011 for a smaller move so we tried them again in 2016 from my apartment to house move.  I packed everything on my own except for the large items, big furniture, a TV and a very heavy and delicate computer tower that was there responsibility.

A few days before the move I expected a call with a time window or just a confirmation that they were coming so on that Saturday before I was calling and texting the number with no answer until I finally found the girls cell phone number in an email and texted her. It's very strange to not have an off hours number for a moving company on the weekend when people are moving?

They showed up on time and wrapped most of my items fine and transported everything to my new house. Once we got to the house the guys were not super careful. They almost busted an antique lighting fixture taking up my mattress.

I was very overwhelmed when I did the walk-through downstairs that I didn't notice small things only if big things were broken which downstairs they weren't. Upon their departure, I noticed my dining room table was full of scratches as were my nightstand and the computer tower they packed up  (upstairs) was completely broken and shattered (it seems like it "fell off" the truck). I told them about this the next day and after a week of calling different people they referred me to their insurance company who put in a claim. The claim came back and after busting my computer and messing up my other stuff they want to give me back $49.50 which is pretty unacceptable.  They said they pay out based on the pounds moved- apparently it doesn't have anything to do with the value of your things which makes no sense.

Anyone who is moving - I advise you to find extra insurance because if this company or another company breaks your stuff, the movers are not responsible.

Although the people were very nice and polite, they did a terrible job of communicating the costs to me. In the end, I felt like I was doing everything myself anyway. I have never had to send anything internationally and was hoping they would be knowledgeable about the process and costs involved. No one said anything about taxes and duties when shipping to London. I ended up paying more than the value of the furniture to get it all to London. If I had known the costs ahead of time, I never would have gone through with it. Unless you know exactly what you are doing, this is not the company to use. Although they are trying to fix there mistakes now and trying to work with me, i do feel like these mistakes shouldnt have been made in the first place.
