I will never hire this company again and recommend against doing any business with them. Hamilton Air has installed several central air conditioning systems in buildings I own in New York City, and I have in the past been entirely satisfied with them. However, it is now apparent to me that their president has people working for him who completely lack his own sense of professionalism and integrity. As a major New York City real estate owner I have known Bill Hamilton for many years, but while the service people working for him are competent, his office management is lacking in proper controls. After requesting work on one of my building's systems, I received a bill for $2000 more than appropriate for work which in fact was not performed on the apartment unit to be serviced. After I pointed out that an error had been made and the bill should never have been issued, his office staff dismissed my complaint and referred the bill to a collection agency without really exploring it sufficiently themselves. After dealing with the agency for several months and seeing my credit score drop by 150 points they read my rebuttal and contacted Hamilton to discuss it. Based on my explanation the agency recommended to Hamilton that their accusations were unfounded and would never prevail in any court. I paid Hamilton for the work actually performed on another matter, and they dropped all of their claims. Hats off to Williams, Alexander and Associates, a collection agency with brains and courtesy. A big waste of my time and damage to my credit. Bill Hamilton isn't watching his shop and only time will tell whether his firm survives under its current middle management.

They came on time.

I've been with them for 10 years. They do high quality work.  The workers are fine and they left the area clean.

Work: A. Their masons showed up when expected, created the hole in a few hours, but had to wait a few hours until the metal A/C sleeve was delivered. The next day, their installers delivered and installed the A/C. Price: B. Their price was $800 less than two other bids I received. Responsiveness: D. The initial visit was prompt, but getting responses from them afterwards until the work was actually scheduled was frustrating to the point of my contacting the president to complain.

It went very well. The project took less time than expected. They were fast and efficient. The only negative was that they were not all that clear in communicating what to expect when during the job.

THEY NEVER RESPOND TO ANY OF MY PHONE MESSAGES. I WAS NOT SURE I WAS GETTING THE HIGH QUALITY AIR CONDITIONERS I PAID FOR. MY EXPERIENCE WITH THEM WAS VERY AGGRAVATING.

I FEEL FINE ABOUT THEM. I HAVE NEVER HAD PROBLEMS WITH THEM. I DON'T REALLY HAVE TOO MANY CHOICES FOR THIS KIND OF WORK. SINCE THEY DON'T HAVE A LOT OF COMPETITION, THE PRICE WAS KIND OF EXPENSIVE.

THEY ARE VERY GOOD. THEY ARE MUCH BETTER THAN THE COMPANIES WE HAVE USED IN THE PAST. WE HAVE USED THEM FOR ABOUT TWELVE YEARS. THEY COME TWICE A YEAR. THE PRICES are NOT CHEAP BUT IS DECENT.
