RE/MAX 1st Class

Julie appeared very eager to list our house for sale and seemed to want to sell our home. She made a good first impression and we hired her. We received a very low offer on the house within a week. We refused the offer even though Julie attempted to scare us into accepting the offer. We thought it strange that, over time and after numerous people had shown interest and mentioned to us that they wanted to put in a bid, we did not receive any other offers. We found out by calling the buyer agents ourselves that Julie had not returned the calls of the real estate agents who were representing these interested buyers. When, a month later, someone who had walked past our home spoke with me personally and said he was interested in making an offer, Julie did not contact that buyer's agent. That same day, we suddenly heard from Julie with another offer from the SAME people who had originally made the low offer making exactly the same offer as the recent buyer whom I had personally met. It was all very strange that those were the only people we received any offers from and when we confronted Julie on her practices and asked her to release us from the contract (a 6 month contract), she hung up on both my husband and me on two separate occasions and refused to return our calls thereafter. We had to contact our lawyer since Julie would not let us out of the sale contract but at the same time would not speak to us. Julie is unprofessional at best and, unfortunately, I would not be able to recommend her to anyone.
