Mr Steven Temes was extremely accommodating with arranging an appointment to fit my schedule. He even went out of his way to reschedule a previous appointment with a different client in order to be able to visit my home in a time that was convenient for me. Mr Temes was able to quickly and conclusively determine the source of the odor. (It was a crack in the foundation behind which water was pooling due to a high water table). He patiently explained to me the chemistry that was causing the anabolic bacteria to proliferate and produce an odor. He then provided me with advice and suggestions on how to remedy the situation. Besides for his expertise in indoor air environmental issues, Steven has lots of knowledge regarding house foundations and other aspects of home construction and he was able to point out to me several issues about the home that I was not aware of. I am very glad that I hired Mr Temes who was able to determine the root cause of the problem. I had previously considered hiring an air quality company that takes air samples for lab testing. Besides the fact that the other company's fee was much more expensive, I doubt that a lab test would have made me any wiser regarding the source of the problem. All a lab test can do is list the types of contaminants in the air but would not be able to determine where the problem is emanating from. I truly had a great experience with the service provided by Steven Temes and would most definitely recommend him for anyone with similar needs.
