I would highly recommend the services of Sacchitelli Landscape Concepts. A few years ago, I was looking for a good landscaper in the area and Peter’s name came up on several occasions. Peter and his team prepared a complimentary landscape design after they came over to my home in Somerville and reviewed the property. The first draft of the proposal was very impressive and we worked together on several revisions. Matter of fact, the job was divided up into several phases over the course of one year in order to fit our budget. Note that Peter’s team is top notch and have been with the company for many years. They are also excellent craftsmen and did a fantastic job with cutting and installing all the bluestone and pavers. The team was also able to fix problems as we uncovered them. For example, my basement has a history of flooding and the team was able to come up with a few solutions to address the problem with new drainage and adjustments to the landscaping. They also were very creative in repurposing some of my old bluestone and other material throughout the project. Last but not least, it has been a real joy working with the team. They were very polite, professional and hardworking.

Let me start by saying we've been bamboozled by contractors before we found Sacchitelli Landscaping. The owner Pete was super attentive, professional, and personable. His team was amazing and hard working, having the project completed on time with no reworks needed. Pete worked within our budget giving us the best design advice and bang for our buck. We couldn't be more happy with our new landscaping and patio. Anyone looking to get landscaping work done at their home or business should definitely consider this company.

Pete came up with some excellent ideas. He is friendly, smart and easy to work with.

The project went very well. Sacchitelli Landscape Concepts produced a great Design plan, and executed according to plan through a difficult wet season. Pete Sacchitelli & Co. has our highest recommendation.

Sacchitelli Landscaping redesigned our front yard in 2018. We were very pleased with the services provided - at first. However, a large number of the plantings put in last fall failed to survive the winter. Peter Sacchitelli came to our home to survey the plantings on June 12th, 2019. He agreed that over 30 plants needed to be replaced. We have not heard from him since. We have repeatedly called. We have sent him certified mail, which has gone unclaimed by him. All of our efforts have failed. Not one single attempt to contact him since June 12 has received even an acknowledgement, much less a response. This review is my last step before pursuing legal action. To ensure that Peter sees see this last effort, I'll be calling Sacchitelli one last time. Peter, you know how to contact me. I will move forward if this last effort to avoid court goes unanswered.

Peter and his team were extremely responsive and professional. Peter worked with us to make sure the project was within our budget and met our needs. He was also very thorough and took care of all the paperwork required by our neighborhood association. We are very happy with the end result - a beautiful patio made with Techo pavers!

First complaint: they tended to come in the evening near 7PM. Second: they billed us for service not rendered when one of our cards was in driveway, preventing them from using large machines access. This was not discussed when the quote was received. Third: they tended to chew up the lawn with their machines, cutting when the lawn was wet, and when discussed with their supervisor, he told us that there was a disease. This was contradicted by an educated lawn expert. Fourth: they tended to be somewhat careless around my timber edging, damaging it in several spots. Again when discussed with the supervisor, he said well the edging is rotting. Fifth: they wanted to charge 45 dollars and hour per person to rake leaves. The latter part of the season I mowed and edged myself and shredded the leaves with the mulching mower.

Pete did a great job and price was reasonable. He also came up with a couple of good suggestions about how to improve some unrelated drainage problems.

I had my entire front landscaping bed re-done as well as some stone work around my shed. Peter and his team were very professional, punctual and were very accommodating. Would definitely hire again

My wife and I were very pleased with the work performed by Peter and his crew. Peter was very patient and helpful while working through all the details with me. I feel that the time spent going through the details paid off since the results were beyond my expectations. Peter mentioned many times that he wanted us to have exactly what we wanted and he didn't disappoint. Peter provided a design layout which helped me to envision how it would look. We made a few tweaks to the design after reviewing the design proposal. The workers were outstanding. They worked extremely hard and were very detail oriented. I could tell that they were experienced and that they really wanted to do a high quality job. I would definitely recommend this company for similar service and I would hire them again if I ever need something else.

Worst company ever!!! Because they failed to cut my lawn during my scheduled week they claimed I had to pay a double cut fee because my lawn was long. I complained about this fact and they simply dropped me as a customer after 3 years. Not to mention my dead landscaping that I paid 3k for. Additionally they were unreliable and they damaged my fence and denied it even though clearly it was hit by a mower. They shorted out my front walkway lights while landscaping my property. Untrustworthy unreliable and not worth the aggravation, STAY AWAY

Pate gave us plans that we accepted. We have tired to contact him to schedule a date for the work to be done. He is not responding to emails that were sent to him. The last time he responded was the middle of November. He also has not responded to phone messages that were left on his voice mail. We are very disappointed because we like the design plan. The projected cost of the work is approximately $6,000. *****This is the second contractor that has an "A" rating on Angie's List that that has proven to be unreliable. We are not renewing our membership in Angie's List.

Great job at a good price! Responsive, friendly and helpful people led by Peter who is totally enthusiastic about all he does. There was a problem with the color of some of the pavers delivered but Peter was very proactive and we got what we wanted without any problem. Would recommend to all and hire them again when needed. A plus all round!

it was a great job all around! Unsure of what plants to order or how to place them. Pete was very good a visualizing what the wife wanted. Even returned to relocate bushes once we realized we didn't like what we thought we would. Very easy to work with, very responsive, clean and professional. You get what you pay for. Would hire them again without a second thought.

When done, the yard and shrubs etc. was unrecognizable looking clean, organized, and tremendous curb appeal. The crew worked hard and was very professional. Everyone on the crew knew what to do. Peter Sacchitelli arrives on time and listens to what you want. He makes suggestions but is careful not to spend your money. He sets up the crew and stays to make sure everything is going well. He also checks the work to make sure it was done to his and mine satisfaction. The price was very competitive. We are engaging them for additional work.

I am beyond thrilled with the design, the professionalism of Pete and his team and the customer service all provided. At our first meeting, I had few specific ideas as to what I would like to have done with the yard. I did want some type of plant that would cover a meter that was in the front of my house, but otherwise, I decided to leave the design up to Pete's expert eye, based on what I had seen him create at my friend's house. 

At our first meeting Pete took the time to walk the grounds with me, then sit down and discuss what I liked and didn't in terms of plants. His targeted question helped me hone my thoughts as well as give him something concrete to create a proposal. 

One of many traits that impressed me was how Pete listened. I knew right from the start that this would be a team effort. 

From our initial meeting, he created a professionally designed schematic coded with each plant he was proposing as well as alternatives. He presented me with this design and comprehensive book detailing each plant, its characteristics and photos of what it looked like in various seasons. This gave me a solid idea of what he was proposing. We talked about the pros and cons of certain plants and again he took the time to make sure that I understood the nature of each plant. 

That second meeting was exciting because Pete came up with elements that I would never have considered on my own. The result is a dynamic design that utilizes the space of my front yard in way that draws the eye to the house. Pete has an artists' sensibility and his aesthetic -- in terms of design, color and texture -- is sublime. He also solved problems that I didn't realize I had (covered up and restyled an area around a tree whose roots were exposed and where I had trouble growing grass; I had not asked for anything to be done with this, but he identified the issue and addressed it). He also suggested an accent fence that would complement my curved walkway. Again, I would never have thought of this, but the result is impressive.

On the design, Pete nailed it and I am so pleased. It makes coming home every day a pleasure. 

Beyond the concept and his expertise with plants, he is easy to work with, responsive and understanding of those of us who might not be the greatest green thumb. He showed me how to take care of existing plants and returned after the job was done to show me how to properly care for the plants. 

In terms of price, this is a great value. I am pleased with the cost, and he is flexible about working with clients on financing if necessary. 

His team is meticulous, efficient and hard-working. I was home the day they arrived to work. They arrived when planned and were done before dinner time. I was impressed with the care they took. I know they take pride in their work because I saw them on occasion take a step back to adjust something and smile. After they were done, they took great measure to clean up the yard. In fact, they went beyond and thatched and reseeded several areas that they weren't working on where grass was bare, at no extra cost. 

You know that Pete has an artistic eye when you notice people stopping in front of your house to point at design elements and smile. Care shows. In fact, recently the mayor of our town stopped to take a photo of my friend's house to post on the town's Facebook page as an example of how homeowners are doing beautiful work on their homes. 

Since my work with Pete, I have recommended him to many people. My parents have already hired him for landscaping work after seeing his concept for my lawn and after hearing of my experience with him. 

I plan on using Pete and his team again. I can't imagine using anyone else.

Pete has been very responsive throughout the whole process, gladly provided his advises, assisting us on all inquiries. He made sure that all work is performed in a timely manner and with the highest level of execution quality.

It was such a pleasure to work with Pete!  We are definitely going to use as well as recommend his services in future.

From start to end it was an absolute pleasure to work with Pete and his team. He was very courteous and responsive. He was even able to start work earlier than what he had promised initially because I wanted to get the project done sooner as I was going to be out of town. His team arrived on time and worked so hard non stop in the scorching heat. They finished in about 3 days and the patio looks amazing!! I am so glad I went with Pete for my patio work.

Scott surveyed the area on 6/3/16 and provided a quote, via e-mail, the next morning. We modified some of the plans through an exchange of e-mails. Scott would always respond (e-mail) by the next day. We finalized what would be done on 6/15 and at that time he solidified the date of planting would be 6/21. His team arrived early in the morning and stayed until after 6 pm. They were very respectful of the property, did a great job planting, pruning and removing the debris. The job was completed in one day.

We waited 8 years since we bought our house to redo our landscaping and we could not be happier with the results. Peter and his team did an amazing job! Peter was professional, reliable and listened to our needs. We would highly recommend him and will use him again in the future.

Pete and his team were fantastic.   From the initial consultation through design and execution, we felt that they were in sync with what we wanted.   Pete was as excited about the design as we were and his enthusiasm and genuine focus on the final vision made the difference for us and certainly showed in the final product.  They were on time with every aspect, in budget and did not cut corners in process.   In fact, he oversaw the execution and added touches not in the original design that enhanced the result but did not add cost.   We could not recommend a better partner to help you in your projects.

We initially contacted Pete over a year ago to design a hardscape and landscape plan for our newly constructed home. Our backyard was literally a blank canvas and we let Pete run with it. Our requirements were simple: a paver patio around the in-ground pool, a fire pit, a walkway from the front of the house to the back and landscaping to go around the patio and pathway. Over the course of the year leading up to the project Pete entertained every single of our ideas and thoughts. He responded to every one of our emails promptly and sat down with us multiple times to go over the latest revision of the plan. He put us in contact with several other trades which he didn't perform (tree removal, stump grinding, irrigation, etc), which was super helpful. The end result was nothing short of spectacular! Pete and his crew created an oasis in our backyard, and we couldn't be more thrilled! We have received so many compliments on both the patio and landscaping. His foreman (Manuel) is a true artisan and a master of his craft. Manuel and the rest of his crew showed up on time and worked very hard for the duration of the almost 3 week project. Pete was on site many times and made sure everything happened when it was supposed to. When he wasn't on site he was just a phone call or text message away (which he always responded to quickly). We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pete and Sacchitelli Landscape Concepts to anyone looking for paver or landscape work.
