During the wind and rain storm on Friday, part of our siding came loose and was "hanging". It was Saturday morning of a holiday weekend and I put a note on my Facebook page to see if anybody had any recommendations. My coworker immediately sent Ralph's phone number and we took a chance and called, really not expecting a call back on a holiday weekend for a "non-emergency" type job. Within a half an hour He called and said that he would be over shortly...wow!! He assessed the damage and said that it could easily be repaired and didn't need to be replaced. Within an hour he had the siding attached back to the house looking like new. Ralph was extremely professional and reasonable. He was reasonably and fairly priced. I would highly recommend his work to anyone in the Morris County area.

The work was excellent. The termite and water damaged sill was replaced and there is no way any more water can get in. The job was done fast and the basement was perfectly clean when they left. RN will be my new "goto" contractors from now on.

Very well.  Firstly, the incorrect window was delivered by the manufacturers, so the job was delayed by 2 weeks, but at no fault of RN contractors.  However, due to this delay, the anticipated time for installation was decreased.  Ralph also had to match this bay window to one I had installed by another contractor about 5 years ago, which he did well, including all the external trim.

I have been using RN contractors for many years.  I am very happy with the work that Ralph performs and I know he stands by his work.  He may not be the cheapest contractor out there, but you are always guaranteed very professional work and it is always well done.  Believe me, I have gone with cheaper contractors before and it is not worth it.

I like the fact that he is a general contractor and will recognize if maybe his expertise does not extend to what you are looking for, in which case, he will recommend someone, and they will normally have the same work ethic as he does.

I know I will be using RN Contractors again in the future!

Ralph and his crew cut a hole in the exterior wall for an air conditioner.  They installed the case and sealed all the gaps both inside and out.  Next to be installed was the air conditioner.  They installed moldings around the unit, so now it looks great on the interior. It is working perfectly.  There was an issue with some vibrations afterwards, but Ralph came back immediately and resolved the issue.  All the work was done in a professional manner. Very courteous and extremely clean. Ralph even got on his hands and knees to wipe the dust off of my floor. This is the second air conditioning unit that he has installed in my home.  I highly recommend his work and would definitely use his services again.

Ralph is very punctual. He's very good at what he does at plumbing. He's expanded his plumbing to contracting. I feel that even though he seems to have experience with different things. I think that his contracting other than plumbing, I don't know if he's got the right skill for that. I think he's learned it more by experience than by training. The bath that he put in and the fixtures is great. The tile work is okay but I think that, here's what happened. I had a fiberglass insert in my bathroom. I had a problem with it leaking. It was leaking around the drain. He showed me that the fiberglass had a hole in it and he needed to replace the tub. I went, oh my goodness. Are you sure you can't just get some caulking? He said no, because if I got the caulking, there is also a crack. The only way to fix it is to put in a new tub and shower. I really didn't want to spend what I spent on that. As I look back at it, I wish he would have given me more options. It's a house that I'm renting right now and I'm going to sell it as soon as I can so I'm not looking for something 20 years down the road, I'm looking for something that's going to work and not going to cost an arm and a leg. He didn't provide that. In speaking to him in the past on this he said, I can put in something less expensive but you are going to be calling me out for the same exact thing in a year. I wished he would have asked me something like this on this particular thing.
They are workable with you as far as getting in and out of the house. That is a very good quality for them. His communication is good as well.

Before the job was started everything was explained to me in a way that I could understand and Ralph's expertise helped me gain confidence that the job would be done thoroughly and satisfactorily. Not only was the work done immaculately but it was also done in less than half the time that he originally proposed! I am extremely satisfied with the jobs performed by Ralph and his workers, the cost and the constant communication during the process.

Ralph (the owner) personally changed his schedule and came immediately diagnosed the problem, then got a new toilet and replaced it. I am a neat freak and he was very neat with his work. I have used him in the past to do other jobs as well. His work is top notch and he shows up when he says he will.(very rare these days). I highly recommend him and his workers.

I have used RN Contractors for many jobs -- this was probably the 5th or 6th major change they have done for me.   RN Contractors are always on time and are keen on details and ensures everything is perfect.   My house is always cleaner when they leave - they clean up and vacuum everything and leave no mess behind.  This is the ONLY contractor I have ever trusted with my house keys.   They have done crown molding, painting, constructing a wall, steps for attic for me and I have always been perfectly satisfied and recommended them to others.

The experience was excellent from start to finish.  Ralph spent a lot of time with us going through the details of the job, showing us samples and working on a plan that fit our budget.  We felt the communication was outstanding.  Once work commenced the team was at our house every day at the same time (including Ralph) and continuously stayed on or ahead of schedule. The final work product(s) were exactly what we had hoped for and exceeded our expectations.  They are a top notch team and Ralph strives on customer service.  We recommend Ralph and his team, without hesitation, to anyone looking to do work on their home.

AMAZING and FANTASTIC are just a few 3 syllable descriptors I can use to proclaim the phenomenal job Ralph and his team did during a recent remodel of my kitchen and main living space. The job involved removing/replacing my kitchen cupboards, moving gas and sewerage lines, removing and replacing 750 sqf of hardwood floor, electrical and plumbing. This mammoth project, which would have taken any other contractor 4 weeks or more to complete, was done in just over two weeks with very minimal disruption and inconvenience to my family. It would have been completed sooner but we waited a few extra days to have my custom quartz counters delivered and installed. Ralph is a perfectionist who works fast and clean and expects the same from his crew. The job had a few unexpected minor hiccups which Ralph navigated with ease. He is an energetic and enthusiastic contractor who takes pride in his work. He finds it very easy to partner with the owner for a win-won solution. Ralph is a rare find in a world that often is filled with shady and unreliable sorts. I wish I could keep him on my payroll permanently as I am afraid once others find out about his great work it may be hard to get Ralph back to do more work for me. I can recommend him and his crew with complete CONFIDENCE

Ralph was able to help me ask the right questions that otherwise I would have no clue to ask.  With his recommendations, I feel much more confident moving forward with my renovation goals.  I highly recommend RN Contractors for anyone looking for remodeling and/or construction work.

I have used RN Contractors several times.  While they may not be the least expensive contractors around, the quality of their work is faultless and regardless of cost, I will continue to use them again.
Most recently, I converted from oil to natural gas.  RN Contractors installed a new hot water heater and furnace.  This included the interior line from the gas meter as well as the actual installation of both items.  They also got the permits for me, and we on site when the various inspectors came.
 The work is very neat and they always make sure that there will be no question from the inspectors regarding what was done. Cleanup afterwards is great.  Communication is great - something that contractors can be bad at!
I will continue to use this company as well as recommend them to anyone I know,
