Hidden Dog Fence Company

We have been Hidden Fence customers for many years. They are very knowledgeable, professional, responsive and most importantly, very kind to our dogs! They come out to see the property, recommend the fence design, and review with the customer before installation. The training for the dogs is excellent - always done in stages, and they check in with us between sessions to review progress and answer any questions before the next stage of training. Francisco did our training and he was EXCELLENT - explained everything to us in detail and worked alongside us with the dogs throughout the process.

Hidden Fence has been an amazing addition to our home and most importantly to our dog's life! From the initial meeting to all the support during and after the training process, Hidden Fence has been extremely helpful in training both us and our dog on this amazing technology. Because of Hidden Fence we see such a positive behavioral change in our dog. He's able to run around freely off a leash and this has been instrumental in his quality of life, his obedience and in a much calmer demeanor when he's in the house. I called on Friday morning for information and pricing.  They installed the fence the next day.  The estimate they provided  over the phone for a 1 acre system was the exact price I paid.  The installer was extremely friendly, worked well with my dog.  Installation on my 1 acre property took about 4 hours.  I have a u turn driveway and the installer made straight clean cuts on both sections.  Filled cuts with asphalt sealer.  Installer gave my wife and I a lesson on using the control unit which is used for adjusting the correction level.  After we train the dog for 10 days they will return for a second training session.

I needed the indoor containment unit to keep my Puggle, who I bought the system for, away from my Boxers food bowl.  The Puggle will eat until she bursts.  The installer suggested an indoor containment unit.  Both indoor and outside units use the same collar.  The installer recommended I mount the unit on the basement ceiling right under the Boxers food bowl. I was able to adjust the strength of the signal so it only works a couple feet around the bowl.

Excellent. I can't recall his name, but he arrived on time, installation was flawless and he worked with us to understand how the system works. As for follow up and training, he brought his dog to help us train our's with the system. I highly recommend Hidden Fence.

We're very satisfied with all aspects of the installation and training provided by Hidden Fence in NJ.  Our installer was Mark accompanied by his dog Chelsea.  Mark was on time, very professional, and thoroughly knowledgeable.  One of our dogs was very easy to train, but our second dog was a bit of a challenge.  We had our follow up training today and Mark, along with Chelsea, solved our problem.  Both of our dogs are very happy.  I would absolutely recommend Hidden Fence to others.

They were absolutely wonderful! I called them and they gave me a quote over the phone after finding my property on Google Earth, which saved a lot of time. They stayed within budget and stuck with their quote.

A few weeks later, we had a severe snow storm and lost power for over a week, and I kept putting them off during that time, but when we finally did get power back, they came out the next day and the gentleman was just wonderful with my dogs, and my children, and was extremely considerate and professional with myself and my husband.

They are very professional. They are also very quick to respond. The fence is very effective and I am happy with it.

This company is top notch and I highly recommend them. I do not have a dog but my sister does and wanted to match the frequency of her fence so she could bring the dog when she visited. I called Hidden Fence and had a great conversation with Rich Weinssen, the owner. He was incredibly helpful and we ended up talking for a long time about animal behavior in general, specifically positive vs. negative reinforcement. He's incredibly knowledgeable about the subject and had fantastic advice. Matching the frequency was no problem for them to do at all, and he even remembered installing the fence at my sister's house, which was a few years ago. We scheduled time for the installation and they were able to accommodate me quickly, even though I am slightly out of their area. It didn't take long, and you would never know it's there other than the training flags around the property. Now "Ellie" has free reign in the yard without worries about her running off. FYI, they can also put this INSIDE your house to keep pets out of specific rooms. Worked great to give the cat his own space where the dogs cannot touch him.

Two company representatives arrived and walked the property with me and we decided where along the property line the wire would go. They were easy to work with and the person who installed our wire and did the first training session is a dog trainer, so he really knows dogs and is very positive and enthusiastic. (I have attended dog training classes at St. Hubert's in Madison, NJ which uses the newer positive reward philosophy and Hidden Fence's training was very similar.) They showed me the spot in the garage next to an electrical outlet where the transmitter would be installed. Do ask where they plan to drill the hole from the transmitter on the inside wall to the outside of the house to feed the wire through. Our wire ended up in the middle of a narrow wall with a thin piece of piping that sits out from the wall. We would like to disconnect the wire and place it closer to the out-side corner of the wall where it is less visible and also cut the length of the narrow plastic pipe so it lays flat against the outside wall. The company will fix/change anything you ask while they are still on the property. However, after the installation, I was shown where the wire was laid out near the property line and asked if I was satisfied,(YES), but I was not shown and did not think to check where the wire exited the exterior wall. Please note: I have not called Hidden Dog Fence yet to ask if they would come out and move the wire without a service charge because I did sign a sheet saying I was satisfied with the installation. They did screw a Hidden dog Fence sign into the mailbox post. If you don't want the mailbox sign, let them know right away. They get to work fast. Which is great because you need to be around for the first training session. THE MAIN THING IS THAT I DID MUCH RESEARCH and THEY WERE THE MOST QUALIFIED AND CARING FOR THE PET. THEIR PEOPLE KNOW AND LOVE DOGS AND KNOW HOW TO TRAIN THEM. (They are not, like one company, sales people seeing how many fences they can sell so that they can win a trip, or sales people who sell other things on the side.) The system Hidden Dog Fence uses is MADE IN THE USA!
