Ron, the owner of the company and a very nice guy, explained to me very well his process and product of doing the job. I met with a few different companies for my project and finally chose this company to refinish my whole house hardwood floor. After their job was finished and left, I called Ron for help because our contractor and ourselves was a little careless and messed up a bit on many spots related to paint touch up and taping. Ron is so nice that he sent his crews to come and fix them for us. They went extra miles as a courtesy service which they don't have to. My floor looks great and is one of the greatest part of my renovation project. I can not be happier with my decision and am very happy with their work. Project that needs to do it once and do it right, you have to choose a reliable company. If I ever do another flooring project again, I will have no doubt to go with them again. Highly recommended.

He was extremely professional, fair and did an excellent job. I was in a jam and had to try and complete the work after my house closing and before I moved into the home. I only had a week available and he made it happen. He was clean, was very accurate in the quote, provided outstanding customer service and did a great job! I would hire him again without hesitation! Ron was very professional during the estimate and although the estimate wasn't the cheapest, it also wasn't the most expensive. Unfortunately I wasn't able to be home while most of the work was being completed, which caused me concern, however I could tell that the crew was extremely respectful of my personal belongings. The few times I was able to meet with the installer and refinishing crew they were extremely respectful. The crew was neat, clean and even provided samples of stain for me to choose. The floors look beautiful. I would recommend Custom Hardwood Flooring to anyone who needs wok done on their floors. The crew was clearly experienced in their profession and I was happy with the work. Ron's crew is a credit to his business. Keep up the great work!

Ron, Don and Marvin were WONDERFUL! I was given an extremely reasonable price for the work. The team was punctual, professional and clean. The work was done 2 days before expected! The team was very friendly and Ron called several times to go over the work done. The finished product is beautiful and I would definitely recommend them if you are needing hardwoods installed.

Ron and his crew did an excellent job.  We were unsure which color to choose, and he provided us with a lot of samples to help with our decision.  The work came out perfect and our floors look brand new.  You can't even tell where the old floor ends and the new floor begins.  We would definitely recommend him to anyone looking.  Very responsive and excellent work.

We had already bought the Flooring, Glue (Mastic) and Saddle Moldings for this project, and we had an installer (that we had used in the past) lined up to come and install everything. But, our original installer "went missing" for a few weeks, with no response or communication. So having already invested in the materials, I started calling other installers, but most were either slow to respond, or they only installed the products that they sell.
Ron called back after the Memorial Day Holiday weekend and come out to look at our space. He gave me a quote and was able to get someone out in a couple of days to do the installation. The attention to detail was very good. They installed the flooring & the Shoe Molding (1/4 round). Everything looks great.
We are very happy with the finished result.
I would recommend them to highly, and we plan on using them for more work in our upstairs areas, as well.

Ron, owner, was responsive and helpful. His crew was friendly and respectful. The guys set stain samples onto the sanded floors and worked around them until we decided. They worked efficiently and were willing to rework a small area with which we weren't happy. Outcome is beautiful.

Ron, the owner, is extremely friendly and professional and you can tell he is very passionate about the quality of the products he uses, the details of the work and how the end-result will look. His estimate was not the lowest we received but we decided we wanted to be sure it was done right and we felt much more confident in Ron than the other companies we spoke to. He was onsite each day to check on the progress and his crew. I met his guys, they were very professional and polite. They were also extremely neat - when the job was finished there was no dust or debris to be found.

the job was amazing. Ron was very fast and resonable with his quote, the workers made it there on time and were great with reccomendations for the color of stain to use which is also easy to find for future pieces that i might make myself. The job was done early and the instructions for when i could walk on the floor and not were well exlained. Could not be happier with the service. On top of the two patches that Ron had quoted for me, the workers had enough material to repair two stained pieces of the floor as well, thet took care of it without even mentioning.
in the responsiveness category i rated fair and there is a specific reason. When i had a fwe contractors coem in to esitmate the job, i had some variacnes in the cost and services performed, when i made the choice to go with custom hardwood flooring. i did have a hard time getting a hold of Ron to schedule the work. I had a few phone calls that he did not answer at first, and i was getting lightly frustrated which was scary for me since i was in the middle of a serious issue with an electrician. in the end after 3-4 days of back and forth Ron got on the phone with me and it was a breeze. i wanted to make sure to right this to explain exactly what happened. I will use Ron and his company for any and all hardwood work i do in the future.
funniest part of the experience, i was so impressed i gave Ron a call to say thanks, as well i had a few questions. he seemed so happyon the phone to hear about my experience. I think when i first asked, he must have thought i was going to complain, not the case at all.

Ron and his guys were great. Originally I had wanted to go with a dark stain, but the floor looked so nice once it was sanded that I changed my mind. They were very accomodating with showing me different stain options. We found a nail sticking up on one of the stairs and Ron came by on Saturday morning to take care of it himself.

Ron and his team did a PHENOMENAL job! They demolished the existing tile (entryway, bathroom and kitchen) neatly (and it was difficult task). The hardwoods were layed beautifully! His team was very professional and courteous. They were one of the BEST contractors I have ever used!

The workers from Custom Hardwood Floors Inc were totally clean and respectful of my home. They took such pride in the product they were delivering, the price was fair, and they made an unpleasant job bearable.

We live in Morris County, NJ and Ron came to our home in October of 2012 to give us an estimate. Then he and his team came back in November and completed the job in one day. They were on-time, extremely professional and did a wonderful job of keeping the other rooms dust-free (which is not easy with a job like this).
My wood floors had not been professionally treated for over 15 years and when Custom Hardwood Floors was finished, we looked as though we had new floors installed.
I would definitely use this company again - everything was cleaned up at the end of the day and Ron came out personally to make sure that we were satisfied with the job. Excellent group.

They were very professional. He worked with a team of guys who came in and were very meticulous. They even went so far to repair parts of the floor that I did not even ask them too. They did very efficient, quality work. They were priced fairly compared to the others I looked into.

I recently had our master bedroom and hallway sanded and refinished. Crew from Custom Hardwood Floors did an outstanding job! Very professional, excellent work. They also did an and excellent job of cleaning-up. I had a few holes in the bedroom floor from old vents to allow airflow from a wood burning stove. Fantastic repair job, no way can you tell a repair took place. Very happy with the job, I would recommend to anyone and plan on using them again in the future.

Ron and team were terrific. They carefully explained what they were going to do - start to finish. Explained various trade-offs (water vs oil, different color choices, etc). The work teams (we had three different teams of 2-3 each were all very professional, courteous. And the work they did was terrific - very professional job. Very detailed oriented. We heard horror stories from others who have had floors done who said they had to repaint entire walls and baseboards....not with these guys - very neat. And floors came out looking like a million dollars. Very little dust around house too - they use some heavy duty machinery that kept it to a minimum.

I highly recommend Custom Hardwood Flooring - in fact, have already recommended to two neighbors and they had a similarly positive experience.
