MODEL ELECTRONICS

Description of Work: To Angie's List subscribers: A few weeks ago my son became a member of Angie's List. I asked him to look up "Car Stereo Installers" and the search produced 6 companies. The two that were closest to my residence were in Pearl River and "Model Electronics" in Ramsey NJ (just recently moved to Ramsey from Nanuet NY). I went to Model Electronics just to get an estimate and I ended up having my Sirius radio installed and I am glad I did. They were exceptional in every way. They installed my Sirius radio in a very professional manner and treated me as if I was their only customer. I couldn't be more pleased and happy about Model's expertise and customer service. I had all the components so I just needed them to install my radio in my vehicle. Dan, who was the gentleman who helped me, was very friendly and attentive and he did not try and sell me any components or "extra" services that I didn't want or need. He showed me in my car where the best place to install the radio was and explained the reasons why. I was given an estimate for the labor and parts (I was told if I did need any parts that they would provide them. I needed an FM Modulator which I didn't have). Their waiting room was as comfortable as my own living room with coffee, juice and soda available as well as snacks. They even had Verizon FIOS TV and I ended up watching a great Humphry Bogart movie on Turner Classic movies. They finished sooner than their estimate (I was hoping it would take longer because I was really into the movie I was watching). The actual bill came in lower than the estimate and the finished job was amazing (better than my expectations). I would not hesitate to recommend Model Electronics to anyone who needs this type of service. They do a wide range of custom installations.
